Kokomi is still superior kit wise. But Yao Yao is incredible. She hugely benefits from being dendro so her burst isnt useless in spread or Nilou bloom. Also shes a 4 star unlike Kokomi whos a limited 5 star.

I was literally abt to say the same thing she reminds me of kokomi she has to be on field for a little while to heal but hoyoverse made sure her burst was short so it didn't take up too much time

@@kale1287 Its literally not shared. Q and E have separate ICD. There is no such thing as "lowering the time rule", thats just not how ICD works. The E radishes have "Elemental_Art" attenuationtag and the Q radishes have "Elemental_Burst" attenuationtag, different attenuationtags mean separate ICD.

I feel like the entirety of Sumeru has been focussing on nicht supports. Gorou, for example, would technically fit into the same category. It's kind of surprising they seemingly dedicated an entire region to it, but it makes sense that the era would at one point come where they add them. They can't make every character universal, and having some that are good in the special teams they're dedicated to makes sense. Lorewise, having Sumeru, the region of wisdom and scholars, who usually specialise in one field, be the region of nonflexible characters does make a bit of sense as well.

Faruzan and Sara is kinda inconvenient as a niche supports compared to Gorou. To Sara, who wants to waste time having to CA first? Or Faruzan who has energy problem, and also has to CA to earn that energy. Meanwhile Gorou just pop E and Q then leaves, even the Q follows the character.

I really wonder how good YaoYao is at providing heals above 90 % HP for that sweet Harbinger of Dawn passive. Currently, my Sayu does the job very well.

I actually use Sayu as healer and VV in my Keq Aggravate team. Idk how removing Sayu would affect that team. But I probably won't replace her since VV shred does so much. I'm definitely slot yaoyao with alhaitham tho. For healer and battery

the thing is having a good anemo unit that does damage in that team (kazuha) is waaay better than leaving a different dendro unit in there and having sayu healer

@@nthinparticular3345 her radishes are aoe so as long as you are in melee range youll get healed. Your main problem is when enemies spread out because she has random targetting.

She should get rerun 4 patches later her initial release like previous archons, so you'll have your chance before 3.X ends!

liyue privilege

I was optimistic about her since she’s likely been in their plans for a while and likely had the luxury of getting more adjustment for her kit. I’m very excited to see when people really test what she does or how far she can go

@@nalis1 we have Yunjin who's very burst-dependant but lacks energy recharge and if you give her ER-related artifacts she'll lose her DEF and thus her burst value, and on top of that she's very niche and only good in one team with Yoimiya. So you can't say that all Liyue characters are perfectly balanced

Why they pulled her from the roster and sat on her till now was probably a dendro reaction thing. But she was created when 4 stars were still solid 🪨. So I think it's less they created a good 4 star now and more is a relic of a more prosperous 4 star era.

@@anthonysteible5475 her kit most definitely was not finalized since inazuma lol they still had to test how dendro will fair before setting anything about her kit as final that's why the beta for her existed. also how about yunjin then? she doesn't require c6 to be good at all. and why did they not release yaoyao first instead of collei? they wanted to test how dendro faired first, especially for 4* characters with collei, so they could release an improved one for yaoyao. also baizhu was introduced in the game first, why was his release so delayed? even alhaitham came first. they definitely don't want to butcher him. watch him be a great dendro healer and be placed in meta teams.
