@@cadilakisrodcustom you shouldn’t need to do that. If you wanted to just put some thread lock that won’t go anywhere. I’ve never even used threadlock and never had a clip come off.

Could you tell us exactly what car the hubcaps come off of,I know that people call them dog dish but it would help to know what vehicle? Also where did you get the whitewall 22 in tires from and what's your favorite tire size for the transport rims on the c10.thanks again.

The white wall is actually the rim painted white around the lip. Dogdish hubcaps come on a number of different test vehicles. Apaches, C10s 60-87, corvettes, etc. For air ride I like to use a 255/30/22.

I’ve broken a few taps in the past but that was my fault. I should have been using the tap magic. Struggle makes a great clip. I don’t want to bash anyone’s stuff but i do feel this kit will help someone doing it for the first time. It’s just another option for people to choose from. Thanks for the feedback Brian. Detroit only goes up to a 4.5 inch backspacing on a 22x9. That size will work fine.

@@SIMPLE.C10 what is the inner diameter of the “ inner ring “ of the “ transport “ rim ? Might be similar to the diameter of the inner ring of the rally rim. Also rally rim has pre drilled & tapped holes from factory. Perhaps some sort of offset washer utilizing these existing holes ?

Just get creative. Just me there's plenty of ways to put these dog dish caps on all types of wheels... big and small. Get your hands dirty and have fun!
