C4 linkage 

The shift pattern is P-R-N-D-2-1. Drive is 3rd gear so to speak. The slop at the end is normal. Looks like it'll work.

If you have a reverse valve body, the pattern is: P N R 1 2 3.

May have gotten the answer, but unless you have a reverse value body, you run thru all of your gears. P N R Drive, which is 3, 2 and 1.

My guess is that the park pawl wasn't lined up so he didn't find that position. If the vehicle was nudged either direction a little then it would've clicked into the "real" park position.

Hey I have a coan t brake valve body I'm having the same issue. It's like it's stopping 1/4 way into 3rd gear. What did you figure out?

Here is your answer. I had the same question. Your video gave me a clue what to look for since I had the same question. I just rotated the driveshaft while pushing the lever and at a certain point it popped into place and then I had all the gears.
