YOU DO NOT ASSEMBLE LIKE THIS ! Front 1/2 from input shell to high drum should be assembled on the bench and fitted as one unit. 😮

They are called thrush washers

It’s harder to put it together that way you should put it together as a whole unit

He put the direct drum together wrong. No wonder he has transmission problems. 😃

Both forward and direct clutch drum have smaller o’rings in them

So pressure plate against the piston in the high . Very very bad 😂

I thought this guy knew what he was doing, I sure hope he fixed the direct drum and he looked at that repair manual long enough, I have only built 3 ford transmissions, I have not yet looked at a manual like that and I built some good tranny's lately, but this is not a good example to watch so I quit watching after that manual stare down.
