How did you lift cab to place it on the other frame. Did you lift it complete and where did you place straps to lift or did you jack it up and block it and roll chassis out and the back under. Looking at doing one myself, a 1969 model.
I used a bobcat with forks, left the front fenders and grill on, but removed the hood, strapped through the windows and one strap hooked under the front grill support.
Your truck looks amazing. I’ve been considering this idea for a while and was unable to find any info on the old ‘interweb’. I’m going to apologize ahead of time for asking way too many questions. I just had a chance to purchase a 70’ C50 but was concerned over notching the original frame for better ride height. This looks MUCH easier!!! 1. Are you going to raise to cab/mounts to accommodate your engine? Or do you see heavy firewall mods to fit your motor? It just seemed like after moving 2. How much did you have to cut off the front of the frame? 3. Was unsure in the video but, did you go with a DRW chassis?
