This is super common with these years LS2s. The wobble is caused from the pulley design. Its two pullies pretty much glued together with rubber sandwiched in the middle. That new one looks used. Should have went aftermarket. The wobble will happen again after a while.
Ya gonna do the job, may as well get the Summit balancer, ARP bolt & drill & pin it to the crank. The Summit balancer has room for a supercharger belt if ya want for future mods.
Yeah after we replace it the customer wanted the summit balancer along with the arp bolt so we redid it but I didn’t recored that video 😂 right now he is just NA
My Harmonic Balancer last 17,000 miles. I replaced with ATI Super Damper and it seems like a performance upgrade. It's more expensive but can be rebuilt versus disposable rubber glue OEM trash.
4 min in, I hate to be that guy but outer tie rod end (front of the spindle) is not the ball joint. You have a great vid, just neeed a word art clip making the corections.
I just supported the engine and dropped the subframe, no way was I spending all day on that steering rack in the position it sits lol. I would still drop the subframe if I had to remove the rack just to make my life easier.

@@yozna9463If using on a n/a car then Powerbond pb1117n which many corvette owners have used and not had issues with. Thats what I'm installing right now while I'm installing a mild cam. Theres also the pb1117ss which is keyed. Others that corvette owners use is the summit and ATI brands.

SFI Dayco SS or Sumitracing is the OEM upgrade. ATI is overkill unless you plan on making big power. Avoid stock replacement one like the one in this video because it will fail again.
If u don’t pin the harmonic balancer it will happen again. The kit is less than $100. It’s best to just pin it so it never goes bad in the first place.
