E40 is nuts man, crazy difference. Do you have any vids on repinning the throttle body harness? I have a IE harness for hemi tb but I’m switching to 034 stage 2+, in order to do so, I have to repin the harness
Yeah I haven't even run the E40 file yet but I'm gonna run it soon. I'm planning on doing a dyno for where I'm at now on the stage2+ then again after I install a ported supercharger and the ultrachager. I do have a video on repinning the Ultracharger harness for the 034motorsport software here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GAb3IuwyMuI.html. The link might not work in here so search through my channel if it doesn't. 034motorsport can also tell you how to repinn the IE harness for their hardware.
Great video, thanks! Love the supercharger whine afterwards. I've had similar done to my S5 where the the crankshaft pulley and belt were upgraded, but can't hear that whine on mine (likely because the Armytrix exhaust drowns it out lol).
Did you install a heat exchanger before or after Stage 2? Also I heard there is a slight difference in the pulley ratio between dual and single which does make a diff when driving “spirited.”
@@cmidas3396 Im sure you’ll be fine. From my understanding; the heat exchanger needs to be installed before Stage II. I’ll prob install mine before Stage I. The Heat Exchanger is a very underrated mod imo..
Going with the 207 instead of the true dual pulley setup is slightly better, but the pulley ratio is like .01 higher on the 207 vs a 190 and a 57. Not a noticeable improvement in performance, not likely to be even 1hp better. The only real difference is the ease of install
Nice video so I'm just asking because it's so hard to get a straight answer from any of these companies. With fresh. with this larger pulley, you're getting the effect of doing both. Is that what you're saying?
Honestly I can't remember because I've been on E40 for the last few months. If you stay out of it, it's about the same. A full tank lasted me about a week before & after.
just a quick question, I just got my 2012 Audi A4 with same engine.. would I be safe doing this and a cts intake without a tune? currently stock as of now but I have the intake on the way. 97k og miles. I reckon test pipes will be also required when doing this?
Did you mean A6? I think A4's only came with the 2.0T. You can do it and the stock tune will just bleed the extra boost. You'll want to get tuned asap though and yes you will want testpipes or sport cats eventually or hollow out your stock cats.
@@livinwithmario4599 No hiccups. Just don't go ham on it because the charger is still spinning faster which is making the intake air temperatures hotter. You'll want to upgrade your heat exchanger also if you haven't already.
Sup man good video. Did you do anything for the rasp cause of the test pipes. I'm waiting to buy cats to install on my awe non-reson downpipes before install my test pipes. Im in NY and need to pass OBD emissions.
I installed Vibrant resonators and it helped but the rasp is stikl there. I'm seeing people with test pipes install a magnaflow muffler in the downpipes where the stock resonators were to take out the rasp. I'll probably go that route when I find a part number for it
It's holding uo fine besides the issue I had with the bolts but that was because I didn't use the supplied bolts that came with the kit and driving through a flood that submerged the pulley.
I just got a c7 a6 with 93k do you recommend any major maintenance on the car? Has a vibration when in gear and kind of when in park do you think motor mounts?
You should try and get the maintenance history from the previous owner or do a carfax to see what's been done and go from there. Also look in the owners manual to see the recommended maintenance per mileage. Yes it sounds like the motor mounts are going bad but try and confirm.
yo bro just a tip. these cars are verry unhappy with what you did. because the crank of these cars need to have a balancerpully like one with the rubber inside it because of the vibrations. the one you are installing right now doesnt have that, thats why most people do only the pully on the supercharger. nice car btw i got the same one just bought it today
Most people do both the supercharger and crank pullies actually. A smaller supercharger pulley is more likely to slip also because of less surface area for the belt. Most of the aftermarket pullies for Audi & VW are pretty well balanced but however they have no vibration dampening because there's no rubber or fluid in them besides the fluidampr pulley but it hasn't been an issue on these cars.
@@cmidas3396 here in europe we got the upgradpulley still with rubber or fluid. they recomend them over the ones you got (without them) but still i wouldent do them without but thats me
@@gipsyboy49 We have those over hear to that go over the stock pulley but there were a lot of failures with them sovmost just run the solid pulley now.
@lunchmoney3652 I never noticed any slip but I did get belt squeal much later, like a couple years. A lot of people switch to a 6 rib belt to stop the squeal. I just cut off 1 rib of the 7PK1370 so it's 6 rib now and no squeal.
@@cmidas3396 Cool thanks. So how many miles do you have on your ride? I'm afraid to go stage 2 with all the miles already racked up on the supercharger since I know going with a bigger puller makes the supercharger work even harder and wears it out quicker.
I'm at 96k right now and have a spare charger that I'm gonna port but I haven't heard of any chargers wearing out. You should be fine if you change the supercharger oil.
you won’t get any more power running a 207 and 57 upper… the 207 is the most aggressive dual pulley ratio you can have and even then your gonna experience heat soak like a mf
Stage 2 is just a more advanced / agressive stage of the same software for a car. Tuners will generally have Stage 1 which usually requires no extra hardware, then stage 2 usually requires more hardware like an exhaust, cold air intake etc and gives more performance / power over stage 1 and it goes up from there depending on what particular tuner has available for your car.
