For easy registration sticker updates, simply cut the foam strip in half and apply it to the sides. This ensures a secure fit without rattle and makes servicing a breeze without needing to re-apply double-sided tape.

I agree with Steve, every year I have to remove my plate to install new year sticker. Double sided tape won’t work for me.

I agree with Alan (and apparently with Steve too). In Michigan, I have to remove the license plate bracket and the plate to change the annual registration stickers. (They’re covered in part by the bracket in the corners.) Double-sided tape would be difficult to remove without damaging the surface.

You can omit the double-sided tape, and take the foam strip we provide you, cut it in half and apply it to the outer sides of the frame. Similar fit, prevents rattling, and easy to remove to apply your sticker or change out your plate.

Carbon Flash Metallic actually has silver, blue, and green metal flake in it. You don't need adhesive promoter if you use 3M trim tape.

Everything is okay but I do not want to use your license plate frame. It obstructs the "county name"" on my plate. Can I do a work-around?

Hi Carl, you do not need to use our License Plate Frame. It will be compatible with most frames.

So you basically have to remove the frame every year to replace the stickers on the license plate itself, not sure why you would secure the plate to the new panel...

If that is your case, then omit the double-sided tape, apply the foam strip on either side of your license plate and simply hold it with the provided screws. We like the added security with the double-sided tape.

Not a fan of this accessory or those orange diffuser pieces. They look random and don’t flow with the back.

IMHO, need a little bit of bing on the license plate frame. Not a lot, but smooth edges when C8 has sharp edges, does not work for me. I am not a hater - have several of your products on my C8 and love them
