CA Archery Bear Hunt D-7 Public Land

Got my first archery big game animal! Opening weekend hunt for deer and bear in California D-Zone. Didn't see many deer, but I did find a lot of bears. Called this one back in after bumping him and he stopped at 50 yards with a log blocking the vitals. I held full draw for over a minute and a half waiting for him to take another step. Getting desperate I moved slightly revealing the vitals and took the shot. He lounged off the log he was on when he heard me shoot, and the arrow caught him inside shoulder and passed through behind the last rib. I caught lungs and the top of the heart and he made it 150 yards.
