Note that east of Domat/Ems station, the westbound tracks have a third rail to support 1,435 mm standard gauge trains. This is because there are industrial sites just west of Domat/Ems served by SBB freight trains coming in from other parts of Switzerland.

Since the winter route from Disentis to Chur was missing, I looked at the summer one! Disentis has an important abbey, the Vorderrhein and Hinterrhein valleys are of immeasurable beauty, especially after Ilanz, when the line is narrow in the river valley between the Alpine Canyons! When you cross the Rhine bridge, just before arriving in Reichenau Tamins, you see the other line with the train coming from St. Moritz. It seems like it was done on purpose but I think it's a coincidence. Beautiful line as always! Well done David!

As I have already asked in the comments relating to the video concerning the journey in the opposite direction, could anyone kindly tell me the reason that led to the schwap at the "Domat Ems" stop of the rail used by the standard gauge trains of the double gauge track? By any chance will the platform have to be served by new trains that have required rail schwap? Thank you very much for your cooperation and availability
The swap made by the third rail only affects the standard gauge freight trains serving Ems Chemie. It is done to allow the Rhätische Bahn passenger trains to maintain the correct distance from the platform edge. Only Rhätische Bahn narrow gauge passenger trains serve stations west of Chur. This swap also allows for greater clearance for standard gauge freight cars at Domat/Ems, Felsberg, and Chur West stations.
