Hello. This is the last winter cab ride for from this year. From now will be able to admire spring and summer landscapes. I hope you will enjoy the rides with me!
Another line that never ceases to amaze me! The SAVA Valley Line! Just like Slovenia, it is a beautiful land! At least 2 or 3 times a year I have to come for a ride! Then for me it is here behind! It is spectacular to see the old CC65000s around! However, I know that they have a powerful transmission system, they perform well in mountain areas and with many wagons. In the seventies, they were the top of the French electric locomotives and Alstom had some models built for the Yugoslavian railways such as the JŽ 363, later borrowed by the Slovenian Railways. The landscape under the snow is magical and in the morning it seems enchanted! Seeing the Rahjenburg castle under the snow, with the frozen Sava is priceless! When you arrive at Zidani Most in winter it is freezing cold! The shape of the station is unmatched! Beautiful!
@wladislaw79 That day it was freezing cold. I think that by now I am used to low temperatures, but, it was freezing. I was scared for the camera. When next time in Slovenia, tell me and we can go for a coffee.
Pozdravljeni, najlepša hvala za zanimivo vožnjo s taksijem v zelo lepi zimski pokrajini. Slovenija je vredna ogleda tudi pozimi. Hvala za vaše delo in nalaganje. Pozdravljeni Ljubljani!
Smo na pragu poletja, vendar so včasih v Ljubljani temperature še vedno skoraj zimske. Želim vam lep dan v družbi cab ride posnetkov🙂
Today we all are waiting for summer but it seems he don’t want to come so quick … 😉😄 But this winter journey was worth to present to us: such wonderful lightning in the afternoon, together with fog moves from river Sava 👍👌👏 Best regards 🖖
@philippedesaint-martin4815 I apologize for this. The speed is GPS extracted data and sometimes is ok, and sometimes the GPS just goes crazy and the data is not accurate.
thanks for the video! I always wondered how this route looked like in the other direction, too bad it doesn't go all the way to Lubljana. Looking forward to see what summer will bring (hopefully some italy as well)
@trainrailfan671 Thank you for your comment. I have quite a few plans for the summer, hopefully, everything goes well and we will be able to some new interesting routes from Europe.
Beautiful video as always, but this time there is no coordination between video, speedometer and the route map. They simply don't add up. An editing problem?
At first, I thought that the speed readings were incorrect due to the presence of GPS jamming devices near the border. But then I realized that I was wrong, since the speed data is not accurate throughout the trip. Despite the lack of lighting and the frequently changing white balance, the video still turned out to be atmospheric.
@user-ew3ch6je1t I apologize, but the GPS data in this video is not very accurate. Sometimes it is better, and sometimes, just for no reason, it is not working properly.
great video! if you take suggestions for next trips, here in Italy there is a stretch of railway which may interest you: take a look at the Ancona-ReggioEmilia AV trip on the ETR500, it’s a part of the Adriatic railway line and it’s one of the most iconic and summer-y lines here, as the train snakes around little beach town houses and crosses farmland fields :)
