During the Illinois Railway Museum's Cabin Fever Day on January 22nd, 2023, I had the opportunity to ride along with the engineer in the cab of Chicago & Northwestern F7A #411. It was quite a neat experience seeing IRM's main line from inside a 1949 F unit. Perhaps the best part of the ride was hearing the EMD 567 prime mover up close in notch 8! The trip was short, but I tried to record most of the journey, along with some detail shots of the cab interior. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a unique perspective that not many get to see!
