Our train is pulled by the Belgian locomotive Magda, built in 1925 by SA des Ateliers de Construction de la Meuse in Sclessin-Liège. This machine has been restored by the MBS and painted in the colors of the NCS, the Dutch Central Railway Company. This company painted all its locomotives in this striking color, but none of these have survived. So special to see this unique locomotive drive!
The train is driven by two NS colleagues. Thanks to them, and of course all the other staff who made this film possible.

Onze trein wordt getrokken door de Belgische loc Magda, in 1925 gebouwd door SA des Ateliers de Construction de la Meuse in Sclessin-Liège. Deze machine is door de MBS gerestaureerd en geschilderd in de kleuren van de NCS, de Nederlandsche Centraal Spoorwegmaatschappij. Deze maatschappij schilderde al haar locs in deze opvallende kleur, maar hier is er geen enkele van bewaard gebleven. Bijzonder dus om deze unieke loc te zien rijden!
De trein wordt bestuurd door twee NS-collega's. Dank aan hen, en uiteraard alle andere medewerkers die deze film mogelijk maakten.
