Thank you for this video and for all infos mentioned. Nice and interesting cab ride. Globally some beautiful landscapes seen. Specially from 48 to 53 mn, nice views over the lake Ossiach and from 57 mn to 01.00 h., beautiful views over the Karavanken massif with snow on the peaks.
Sehr schöne Mitfahrt auf einer eher exotischen Strecke der Österreichischen Bundesbahnen in Kärnten. Bravo! Weiter so! In Österreich (vor allem in Westösterreich) gibt es noch viele andere interessante Bahnstrecken (Tauernbahn, Giselabahn, Unterinntalbahn, Karwendelbahn, Außerfernbahn, Brennerbahn, Arlbergbahn, Montafonerbahn, Vorarlbergbahn ...).
The line is local transit and constitutes a valid alternative, albeit single track, to the main line, without passing through Klagenfurt. Of course it passes close to the Ossiacher See. I was in Ossiach for a weekend just last year in August and it's a really beautiful lake. Like all of Carinthia, the Austrian Lake District is a hot area in summer, but in a lush, green landscape. Nearby is the Gurk Valley, with very cool gorges in summer. On the way I saw several Talents. I don't know if the OBBs also let the Cityjet trains pass much faster. Still, it's a nice line. It would be a great opportunity to start from Villach and travel along the Drava line to Spittal, Lienz and reach the Pusteria Valley in Italy up to Fortezza. The scenery would really be worth it. Another nice route could also be the route from Jesenice to Villach under the Karawanken mountain range. As always David delights us! Thank you

Se mi è consentito vorrei fare delle domande (causa anche la mia ignoranza del sistema ferroviario austriaco!): al minuto 45 quei nuovi carri sono per il trasporto di semirimorchi ? Come fa il macchinista a partire dopo un ingresso con preavviso di segnale "chiuso" (rosso); il fatto è accaduto in due occasioni, una delle quali si ha un transito sotto il segnale "rosso" di partenza ! Riguardo all'armamento si ha la storiografia del medesimo: legno, 1^, 2^ e 3^ generazione di traverse in cemento armato precompresso ! Grazie

An excellent cab ride through beautiful country and interesting towns. If I win the Lottery, I think I might buy a house on the Ossiachersee. 😀Thank you. At 56:50 and 44.8 km there are a lot of mounds in a field on the right. If they are produced by moles then they must be the world's biggest! Does anyone have an idea as to what they are for?
