Pozdravljeni Ljubljani
@@ZvonimirZelenika I completely agree with you, but it would be nice if the author of the Rail Relaxation channel filmed the railway lines of Greece, Turkey, Albania, Bulgaria and other Balkan countries.
@montgomeryscott1656 It was very interesting for me too. For the first time on that railway line. It would be even better if we could get all the way to Thessaloniki. Who knows, in the future they will establish the connection again.
I have a request to you to film the railway route Skopje-Pristina (North Macedonia-Kosovo), I deleted the previous comment because I formulated it incorrectly.
@@ВиталийЦеликов-о4н i think international services from Skopje to Pristina havent run since at least 2020... there was one train but that was really it.
The sequel to the Beograd-Thessaloniki line! Why are there so few trains? The new electric trains are beautiful. But they were bought by China. The design looks oriental. The landscape is characteristic along the Vardar river but the stations and the neglect of the line, the sidewalks and the stations reflect the social reality of a poor country. Too bad! You can really see the difference between Slovenia and North Macedonia. Once upon a time it was Yugoslavia.... but with big differences. Overall, the line is beautiful as always. Few people and few trains, but perhaps there is also a lack of money to travel. Beyond the Gevgelija station, a single-track line serving freight traffic begins in Greece from Idomeni to Thessaloniki. It would be nice to do a cabride on the new Greek high-speed line Thessaloniki-Athens, recently doubled and re-electrified. Thanks David!
@wladislaw79 Thank you, Wladislaw. A the time I was in North Macedonia, there were not many train operating. I hope it will get better. It would be very nice to get back the old connections between the North and the South of Europe.
You should really edit the video before posting to turn the horn down. It's a shock when you listen to a pleasent rubmling and then a total explosion. Not good.
The name Macedonia derives from the Greek Μακεδονία (Makedonía), a kingdom (later, region) named after the ancient Macedonians, from the Greek Μακεδόνες (Makedones), 'Macedonians', explained as having originally meant either 'the tall ones' or 'highlanders'. Do Slavs from NORTH MACEDONIA know the origin of the word "Macedonia"? It is GREEK.
Calling North Macedonia just Macedonia is meaningless because there is no country with the name Macedonia. In the same way there is no country with the name Africa. It is meaningless to call South Africa just Africa. South Africans NEVER call their country Africa because it is meaningless.
