Cabazon Dinosaurs - Tribute to Pee-Wee Herman at Famous California Roadside Attraction 

I finally visited the Cabazon Dinosaurs - one of the most famous roadside attractions in the USA. These Dinos are located just west of Palm Springs, California in the town of Cabazon and were created by artist Claude Bell in the 1960s - 1980s.
These dinosaurs were featured in the movie Peewee's Big Adventure, and sadly Paul Reubens, who played 80s icon Pee Wee Herman, passed away this summer. After the news of his death, the T-Rex at this popular roadside attraction was painted in Pee Wee Herman's gray suit and red bowtie as a tribute to the actor.
Having grown up watching Pee Wee's Playhouse on Saturday morning cartoons, I had to make the pilgrimage and pay my respects to the one and only Pee Wee Herman. And no better way than exploring this wild and zany roadside attraction - the Dinosaurs of Cabazon.
