These kinds of fights gave Butterbean a career, because he would have no chance in a straight up heavyweight boxing match against the top tier heavyweights.

Cabbage can take some serious shots too. Many of his fights he gets blasted and doesn't seem to phase him when you would certainly expect it to. He's a damn good fighter.

Butterbean was a superb athlete. He was spooky fast for his size, and his stamina, especially for his size, was out of this world. He was a genuine freak. I remember his VO2 max was confirmed to be that of an elite endurance athlete.
