I got my hunt gear from Academy and I’m completely satisfied with it. Some people think you have to spend $1000 on Sitkato kill a deer Cabela’s gear is really nice stuff I’m using Magellan brand. I do think I’m gonna buy an an Arctic Shield coverall suit for the 2024 season thanks for the Great video.
Awesome man. I think there is a time and a place for everything. This is the perfect deer gear. I do have to say that while on an Elk hunt I wish I had better rain gear. I was either going to sweat like a pig or get wet from rain. I chose to sweat in my rain gear and I paid dearly for it. Many brands have breathable rain gear... That could have saved my ass big time hiking in the mountains. There is stationary gear which this is, and hiking gear, which this is not! 😂
Great review. I have literally every item to this instinct system other than the boots. I hunt in Wisconsin all the way to the end of the season and do not get cold at all. Pattern is awesome and price is even better. Had to go with the brown on brown lacrosse alphaburley pro 1600 for boots though. The all brown looks great with any camo pattern and by far the warmest and most comfortable boot I’ve ever owned 😎👍
Sweet. Yeah, I think I need to get a bigger boot. Once I put some nice warm socks on this boot is a little bit too small before I do that though I’m gonna do my damnedest to try to stretch them out!
@@ApexPredatorOutdoors I used to buy my boots a little oversized for that exact reason. Now I use SunWill heated socks, ole never go back to normal socks man 😂 They’re like $80 on Amazon, nice and thin. Probably the best hunting investment I ever made. Keeps you in the woods 10 times longer and also can buy my boots the right size now so you feel much more agile 😎👍
The cabelas gear works great for whitetail and hogs and local species where you are sitting and waiting. For ell, spend the money on Sitka or other premium brands. I was either sweating or freezing in the cabelas gear but I survived for sure. The pants were always good but vented too layers make a huge difference
These are fairly quiet. I wore them in the elk mountains with someone wearing Sitka and another guy wearing black ovis pants and couldn't hear a difference
Lol. They're a bit too small for me but I'd they were one size bigger they'd be fine Comfort-wise. They definitely do not have much flex but if your climbing up hill that's a good thing. It will keep your ankles supported and tire you out less.
