I grew up about 20 minutes from pikes peak and this perfectly captures the feeling of hearing things in the Colorado winter woods when you're by yourself.

i live in the adirondacks area and i have my whole life, and i as well as a lot of other people can vouch for the fact that while stuff isnt this outwardly monsters and such, but weird shit definetly happens, nobody really talks about it because everybody knows, and nobody even tries to question it anymore

@Sandblock Bass this is just long enough for a movie. Borrasca could probably be a tv show, don't think i've listened to Spire in the Woods (unless you mean Church in the woods). And Tales from the gas station would make an absolutely great TV series, there's so many parts and it's so long.

Seige Game I feel creeped out on every level. One of the last days I ever spent with my dad we went up to Pikes Peak. He later commited suicide. its been almost a Year and a half. But looking back on it. Fuckin creepy.

I didn't realize this was the first part of " My fiance' is acting strangely". I thought it was kind of weird how in that story that it just glosses over the fact that "strange shit happened to us at this cabin and now we brought some kind of entity back with us" to jump start that story. The fact that our narrator was so open to all the paranormal stuff happening in that story like it was just every day stuff makes a lot more sense now

I love these stories where the monsters, as the story begins, come off simply as mindless senseless creatures who have no clue what they re doing and act on pure instinct, but then, as the stry progresses, you find out they are smart as heck and actually have a clever plan, in fact, had a plan from the very beginning. XD I just wish Felix could have actually had a shot conversation with the creature when it was asking him about the number 5....but nvm, it was still good

I know these aren't supposed to be real stories and all,but I moved to Colorado a couple years ago. And I live literally just a couple minutes away from Arvada. Lol. There are a lot of crazy stories about these mountains and other areas around here. My wife grew up here and has one really fucked up story about something that attacked her and some friends of hers down near a place called Littleton and Lakewood. I believe from her description that it sounds like a dogman encounter. Well it was an attack. Not just an encounter. Anyways. Enjoyed the story.

Lived in Greeley CO. My husband and his family lived there for so long that he is considered a "colonial heritage" family. His great grandfather built houses in Meeker, Rifle, Grand Junction and Montrose as a master carpenter. Pikes Peak is very much a haunted place.

But after reading your comment, and the OP's, I think I'm going to have to start the story over again and pay attention this time around, if it really is that good. The top youtubers in the horror community should get together and build their own site. Maybe make a podcast app. Then sponsors, who WANT to advertise with you guys can. It would also be the perfect opportunity for smaller companies to come in and advertise to their target audience. I pay for RU-vid Red for the sole purpose to listen to uninterrupted creepypasta type stuff. I would be willing to leave RU-vid Red and put my money with you guys.

Agreed and for me personally I'd like to see RU-vidrs like mcp, mrcreeps, rob dyke and to some degree top5s and others that have had to drop the creepy stuff in favour of "family friendly content". Kamden Vera borasca shook me man. Something about the ideal teenage life being disrupted and character progression makes it one of the most realistic and believable stories to date

This is still my favorite creepypasta and my favorite narration by you. It's unsettling, ambient, has good characters and a terrifying enemy that's brought to life by emotional voicework and editing that I've still only seen from you, MCP. I skimmed some trying to find where this narration left off, but do plan to fully read it. It's actually quite a bit. You should look it up for yourself instead of having an explanation unless you don't care how you find out either way.

I’m really curious about the person living in the cellar under the cabin - it seems they made the dreamcatcher, so either they had some sort of relationship to Phae’s family, OR they needed the place they secretly stayed at to be safe at all times. Also I can’t get the haunting image of trucks driving through a forest under countless hung bodies above them out of my mind. Starry night, white snow, beautiful scenery. But all the dark silhouettes of legs and torsos hanging down from the treetops... that sounds like a beautiful piece of art. Great narration, MCP, can’t believe I didn’t find it sooner.
