A Cable videogame would be so cool. Rampaging through some anti-mutant hate group with telekinesis, future gadgets, the most ridiculous nineties guns, and heavy metal blaring in the background (and a laundry list of cameos) would be so awesome.
@@lmx-retroroundup667 All they have to do is copy the Far Cry/Just Cause gameplay loop of liberating an island (Genosha, maybe?), and have X-Men and X-Force members rock up every 5 minutes and be like 'Hello Cable. It is I, ******. Let's kill some racists together." and I'd buy 12 copies EDIT: And a Hope Summers DLC.
Competing dystopian futures in Cable/Bishop. Cable is interesting in he is a lot like the Punisher in that he has good intentions but can sometimes resort to wrong. Like if Punisher met Terminator. Maybe Cable's flexible morality is one reason why Cable wasn't a good fit as a full time X-Man in the 90s and was better as leader of his own X-Force group. (No clue what they've done with him post 94). He's like Duke Nukem or Duke from GI Joe on steroids. Dude basically dodged everything Storm, Gambit, and Cyclops could hit him with. Maybe adding Ice Man in could have helped. Even though Cyclops only does one thing, he does it well--hitting you with a big ass laser blast.
One great thing about 90s X-Men is how it holds up if you're a casual fan, and if you're a comics nerd it gets even better. Cable fights Cyclops and Jean TWICE in this video alone. Both times he shoots stuff around them as a distraction. Which tells you two things: Cable isn't out to hurt our heroes, just get them off his back, and he might be a good guy after all. If you KNOW his story from the comics, it's even cooler. Guy takes two optic blasts and then shoots a warning shot. He's gotta be thinking "Dangit, DAD!" Lastly, that intro to "The Cure" is the most badass you'll ever see Angel.
AHhahah yeah man I agree! I actually started watching the cartoon 1st and then that got me into the comics and cards. But yeah , this whole story with cable and also with Bishop is my favorite stories in this cartoon, movie quality story if done correctly.
@@lancescott6513 I'd actually argue Cable knows in the show, too. In "Time Fugitives" his wrist computer is briefing him on the X-Men and he tells it to skip Scott and Jean, for example.
Bro that would be such a easy movie to make and be able to have so much content...if done correctly anyways...with our luck they would d some backwardass shit like make cable cyclops's dad and have Mr. Sinister be am X-Men..lol
Nicely done on this video!!! Cable’s been one of my favorite characters since I first watched this show, I became even a bigger fan of him since I read the comics: he’s like a combination of Wolverine and Punisher! And Cable vs Rogue, Cyclops and Jean in the episode The Cure, as well as the whole team in Time Fugitives Part Two, so awesome!
thx boss, im going to try and do Bishop next, I like both the Time travelers in this X men series, i feel like they are part of the best stories in the series. :D
agreed, yeah the whole CURE and Time fugitive portion of this X Men series fascinates me, its the best story lines of the entire series in my oppinion.
Gambit, Cable, and Bishop were all so boss when they were introduced in the 90s. Edit: Archangel > Angel. Being able to throw adamantium razor feathers out of your wings is pretty useful.
@@marvelfanatic9535 I will make sure to do him justice then,he is a very interesting character to me because his physical appearance doesnt match the person on the inside and i believe there is a deep lesson beasts character is conveying.
