In the final days of May 2013 the world's top professional skimboarders converged on Cabo San Lucas for the annual Cabo Clasico. Near perfect shorebreak conditions persisted for all the pro heats as they battled it out man on man until a victor was chosen.
Laguna Beach's Teddy Vlasis walked away with this years title followed by Perry Pruitt from North Carolina, Juan Carlos Nazario from Cabo and Brandon Sears, also from Laguna Beach.

That is true... But one of the only 2 guys that Victoria sent, actually ended up winning the event, and the video does not reflect it at all... I think that's what Jorge meant here. I guess Teddy won the contest slipping through the cameras lenses of the 3 guys filming...

Yeah Perry too apparently. He got second and got three clips (same as Teddy by my count) in the main video. Its easy to miss a wave or be out of position for a wave when there is only one filmer (not sure where you get the three filmers from...).

I thought he was thanking for helping to make the event happen. I did film that water shot of Morgan though so maybe he was thanking for that. In truth, I think he just needed something to fill up the space though... :)

Vic had two guys there I think. They are both in the video. Zap had zero riders there I think.

Hey guys, Teddy is the man and got hundreds of good waves, only by the time the semis and finals were going on, the waves weren't as good. We could have taken out some A's to slip in the B's from the finals, but Teddy viewed the edit and was happy with how it was. As for Morgan, we had to fish up some free skimming clips to make sure he was in it. The hardest part was making sure everyone had some waves in it, and also breaking up the monotony of all the wraps.

Sorry, I assumed that the "special thanks" to Aaron Peluso, Luis Uribe and Brandon Sears at the end was for ppl that helped filming (go pro etc...), but apparently not... Maybe it's for helping editing? kk just kidding! Scott did a good job with the video as always! Cheers

I can't imagine any reasons for scott not to film/use good footage from skimmers sponsored by other companies... Why would he do that? to please peluso since hes the one who pays for the video and he owns exile? He'd be much more stoked to watch an epic video with sick clips from everyone than a just a good video with exile footage. Peluso doesnt care about this thing like that, he promotes every skim brand on skimonline with articles and news. Theres no manipulation anywhere

Great video! I wish the east coast got those kinds of waves. Sometimes we do, but most of 'em back this way are small compared to those in the video.
