Episode 3: Port of Cabo
Beach. Food. Drinks. Swim.
Day 3 - Cabo San Lucas
In Cabo, we caught a water taxi from the marina to Medano Beach where we hung out at Mango Deck and played in the ocean. This beach was by far our favorite, because the water was so warm and clear.
Pro tip: As long as you keep ordering food/drinks at these beach side restaurants, you can park you and your stuff under their umbrellas.
We also flew our drone so we got some awesome ship and arch shots.
Back on the ship, we got food from the Lido buffet and ate in our room!

We will be on the Panorama April with 3 kids. I love all of your travel vlogs. So so informative and I have young children so it's so relatable. That drone footage was amazing!

Your video are so informative my family is planning our first panorama Cabo trip. When you take the water taxi do they take US dollar or is it best to exchange money to peso?

Loved those drone shots. I am doing this same Cruz in a month and was questioning weather or not to bring my dji mini drone. Did anyone hassle you about the drone? I'm seeing mixed things on weather or not it's allowed or not.

Thank you!! We flew it in each port (Cabo, Maz, PV) without any issues. On embarkation day, it was in our carry-on. When we went off into port, we just put it in our backpack. Enjoy your cruise!!

We got off the ship at 12 and by the time we got to a Medano Beach it was probably about 1. I think we stayed until 4-4:30 and that was perfect!

For 8 of us, it was around $250 and there was a lot of food leftover.

Any tips for hailing a water taxi ? Are some sketchy ?

As soon as we got to the marina, we were bombarded left and right with water taxis. Lots of options! Just bargain with them. Like Amanda said in our video, we paid $40 for 8 people for roundtrip to Medano Beach. They didn’t feel sketchy.

Hi! We found a water taxi right when we arrived at the marina, we did not pre-book it. Once we found our taxi, we arranged a pickup time and exchanged phone numbers. We actually ended up texting him requesting to stay an additional hour and he was fine with it.
