Ryan over the years your audio and quality has gotten so great keep going brother. Be proud of what you're doing.. I'm 42 and lost a lot of good men/memories
For 95 that mans dad is still pretty sharp and still remembers a lot.....this video will mean a lot to the son in the future. Good storys from guys that have. been there done that.
Thanks for another interesting interview Ryan. Love hearing the stories from these older truckers. Most interesting. The truck in this interview is a grand old truck. Very nice. Thanks Ryan. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Coolest grandpa! When you are a child and being allowed to sit behind the wheel is a memory that they will have forever. You can’t get any better than that! Thank you for the memories gramps. I grew up with old iron in my blood from my grandfather having dump trucks, busses and logging trucks and then. My uncle running dump trucks. My ultimate favourite truck I a Ford LNT, LTL or LTS 9000dump truck. I’d take that over any Kenworth or Peterbilt any day.
I have a little Minneapolis Moline Model D sheller. I use it to shell out corn for my lambs. It takes about 20 minutes for it to fill my feed grinder mixer. After I'm done shelling I grind up the cobs and unload them right into my steer pen for bedding. That sheller can run about 300 bushels an hour. The E was much bigger. It could run 1000 bushels an hour. The final version of the E was the White 1200 which I believe the number corasponed with it's capacity. They were finally discontinued in 1975. I do not know when Deere discontinued the #6 but I read that they made an extra run of them when people heard they were being discontinued, to fill those orders. Keep these videos coming. The knowledge these guys have is disappearing fast. It's important to save this for future generations. It's important that the guy's that came before us get the acknowledgement for what they had to go through.
Good video! I will take a kw or freightliner any day over a old peterbilt. Old 359 and 379 so damn loud in cab. I wore earplugs to keep headaches and fatigue down😂😂😂
