This is my FAVORITE concert of Innesa Galante. Her technique on the high, or pianissimo notes, is unmatched by anyone in the whole world. And in this particular concert, she sounds particularly ethereal on her high notes. And I like that the video shows her in church, so I believe she is Catholic. May God bless and reward you for devoting your life to sharing your talent with the world, Innesa.
This performance was in 2015. In her debut album in 1995, included a rendition of Vavilov’s (1970) Ave Maria which garnered wide acclaim and interest in this masterpiece which was relatively unknown until that time. Since then, it’s become a staple standard in the repertoire of many sopranos, contra tenors and choirs. It’s truly a magnificent sacred aria inspired by the Gospel (St Luke’s) account of the Annunciation-the momentous event of the opening salutation by the Archangel Gabriel when he appeared to the Virgin Mary.
Este AVE MARÍA ES ÚNICO EN VOZ DE LA SRA INESSA GALANTE ,MANTIENE EN PLENITUD SU REGISTRO .RECORDEMOS QUE SU AUTOR ES VLADIMIR VAVILOB.
OWOK - ONE WORLD ONE KOREA massimo urbani.
__ ( Korea Musician harmonics Professor - David Kim )___
Ave Maria "by Vladimir Vavilov (1970) not of Caccini (1550-1618) The "Ave Maria" is by Vladimir Vavilov (1925-1973) a Russian guitarist, who had the frequent habit of attributing his own compositions to other composers, usually Renaissance or Baroque. This "Ave Maria" was composed in 1970 and published on an album titled "Music of lute of the XVI-XVII centuries" (Editorial "Melody"). He edited it without author In spite of the name of the disc, he himself composed almost all the songs recorded of the disc, attributing them to authors of the Baroque or Renaissance, except this "Ave Maria", that left it as anonymous. Then, a friend of his (Marcos Shakhin) who had participated in the recording of the album, attributed this "Ave Maria" to Caccini, following the custom of Vavilov himself. The interpretation of the soprano Irina Arkhipova in 1987, (with an arrangement of the organist Oleg Tanchgenko) made this Ave Maria achieve the fame and popularity that it now has and that Vavilov could not get to know (he died poor and of pancreatic cancer).
Vladimir was a religious man and devoted to the Virgin, but the political and religious circumstances of the country (Russia) made him give Baroque names to his own compositions, so that they could be published without censorship. This "Ave Maria" was composed with the first two words of the prayer, for fear of being censored. And he did not put any author name. It was later (a collaborator of his on the record) who attributed it to Cacini, following Vavilov's custom. And it was the soprano IRINA ARKHIPOVA in 1987 who popularized it. Later, more singers would sing it, such as Bocelli, Galante and many others, although this work is designed for the high voice of a boy or a woman.
The 2007 recording she made is far better when her voice was just that little bit younger. it may be the recording but here her voice is no longer in its prime - it has moments of shrillness. For a really beautiful interpretation try the Russian soprano Nina Solodinovkova made in Peasro.
She's not as good as when she was younger but it's not terrible, still much better than many! Don't appreciate it? Just leave quietly! No need to be an a**hole. Maybe should take some Passi Flower to calm down your t*ts!
she was born in 1958. she is 57 or 58 yrs old here. she sings French, german, Russian, Italian, latin, on her prime years as if she was native to each language. the best.
