finally, I found the video I was looking for I have a vista coming tomorrow and me being new to FPV (only been fling a month) I've was looking for a video on how to wirer it the right way. Thank you for sharing this video.
Really solid video! Helped me a ton in lengthening the standard caddx cable. My only piece of feedback about the video is the intro and outro music is a far cry louder than your speaking voice. Otherwise super high quality, thanks!
One thing that messed me up is that the second connector under the panel must make an audible click when you put it back together. I swapped cameras and thought I had killed it when the vista unit didn't power up. Opened it back up and realized that even though the second connector was in the right spot it hadn't clicked all the way in, squeezing on that part of the housing before screw insertion fixed the issue.

I think My cable got into contact with the props a bit and the metal wires are visible in some places. Im also having bad goggle feed. Would it be causing it ? Thanks !
Hi, is this process the same as replacing a caddix polar camera to the DJI camera ? it is going into a vista air unit, would the wiring for the camera be the same ? Thanks
Thank you for showing the wiring..I'm just in the middle of building a cinewhoop (Shendrones Terraplane) and using the Kakute HDV F7 FC/ESC Combo (not the AIO) It has a dedicated port for the Air Unit but the Caddx Vista (which I opted for..) needs hard wiring so this video was just the ticket. 👍 I'm still a bit unsure as to the use of the 'extra' ground (if it is an extra?) by the SBUS and also the SBUS connection..Should I just wire it in anyway - and if I do is there a setting in Betaflight to enable or disable the port? On the FC that wire comes from UART6 (then Gnd-Rx-Tx-Gnd-Power going left to right). I'll subscribe and check out your other videos - thank you very much 😀
Thanks a lot! I just needed to change the camera of my Caddx Vista Digital HD System because of the same reason :) Appreciate a lot! I have a question though. Which parameters should I pay attention before buying a new camera? Any suggestions?
glad it helped! - I've stuck with the dji cameras for now, steer clear of the caddx nano, the pro is meant to be pretty good though, not used it myself though.
You MUST connect all the wires to the flight controller but do NOT enable the SBUS protocol if you are not using SBUS. If you don’t, you will not be able to use other Tx output power settings.
