Nice Vid. Any tips on how to remove the rear side panels to get to the rear speakers? I want to put a backboard into the tailgate door for a pair of 6x9s and run the wires up the sides of the back window. I’ll need to go through the rubber connector boots at the roof and down on the inside to join the old speaker wires.
Not realy, its just standard pesky panel clips. I can’t remember the exact sequenced I used. Not 100% sure but I think I had to uscrew some self tapper once I got the panel off to get access to the speakers. Not big issue for me as was just replacing the side panels and sticking with the existing speakers. I can remember all teh clips being but of a pain as it always feels like something is going to break!
No not really. It’s a very low roof so every mm of head space is important. I also needed. A firm base to bolt the furniture to and the original would have been to spongy.
