XD And while I agree about most of it. Big companies and stupid industry heads making stupid choices. I will say that you not at least checking in on this stuff you built your livelyhood around and also complain about choices made to represent the stuff...? when Playstation has been monumentally screwing itself over with its practices: - the failure of, and removal of Concord - claiming not to have profitable ips - announcing a closer to 1000 price tag for the ps5 pro with barely any changes instead of its next generation (which is confirmed, after like what- 4 years? the fact you pre-ordered a special edition that will probably cost more is hilarious), Astro Bot just coincidentally is highlighting all these flaws that happened all at once. That's why people are making it into the statement that it is.
PS5 Pro "with barely any changes instead of it's next generation" PS6 won't come out for another 4 years, why would they announce that now? The PS5 Pro is just the MID GEN refresh. Same as the PS4 Pro. It's a more powerful PS5 to play your PS5 games at higher resolutions with better performance. That's all it is, so if you don't want that just wait another half decade for the PS6. But that shit is NOT coming out anytime soon lmao
@@Fizzsama Except what the Pro uses is NOT DLSS, it's PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution(PSSR).The Pro literally advertises AI upscalling. It was shit on the GTA trilogy and it will be shit here too
@@Ashurman666 PSSR is the same sort of technology as DLSS. If you've watched the Mark Cerny presentation you'd know that. Digital Foundry also broke it down in their Final Fantasy VII Rebirth video. Research before you speak. According to DF, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth uses PSSR to output 4K at 60fps with image quality on par (if not better) than the 30fps quality mode on base PS5.
A little confused by the comments here that seem to achkowledge caddy ranting about business practises last stream but also seem surprised he has no opinion on a PlayStation comeback question. The entire subject of his rant was that he doesn’t concern himself with the financial and creative choices Sony make as a brand and makes a conscious effort to not engage with closely following game development bc he thinks being that emotionally attached to decisions a company is making is mentally exhausting. So why would he have any opinion on “PlayStation making a comeback?” Because they released a good game? Contrary to yours, my own or caddy’s personal thoughts, PlayStation are doing fine in the grand scheme of things. Concord was a huge flop but they have also had a ton of titles release on console this gen that were very well received by general audiences and they’re doing absolutely fine financially. Sony can definitely afford a big flop now and then. The larger market wouldn’t have even known about concord, only online Twitter uses follow that stuff. In short; financially and from a general audience brand perspective there’s not really any “comeback” to be made, caddy is right. And if you just mean in terms of “making games like they used to” so to speak, that’s obviously not something caddy is really bothered about them doing as he made pretty clear last stream! Just my two cents! I also really don’t get where this idea that he’s spent the whole stream complaining has come from, is it because he spent the 10 mins talking about American idiot?
Except the thing he's confused about was exactly the thing that was discussed last stream and that people told him about. So even if he doesn't follow, he should have known what that user meant by a comeback considering he was told last stream of the BS Sony has been up to. As for" entire stream complaining" that's what it FELT like he was doing because it was the majority. Complaining about Sony, complaining about the Ape Escape level, complaining about this and that. It wasn't the whole stream but that's what it FELT like because it was a good portion of the stream
