Dave, is the CS10 7500 a LOT bigger than the is CS10 5500 ? -> or similar size to a shimmy 5500 xtd ? and finally what country are these reels manufactured? cheers!
The trouble i find with supposedly carbon body reels is flex & and wear, especially around the bailarm rotor & bearing causing line lay problems etc..& carbon has become a marketing catch all term for polymers (plastic) with very little little graphite content..
I will be totally honest and say that is the first time I have ever been asked that, as such i have no idea. Cadence angling have a FB, Insta and website so maybe fire the question at them mate, I am sure they will be glad to help if they can.
Was meant in gest bud. Ive actually just been on the website and there match reels look bang on. Just what im after. Was meant more as a compliment actually, your vlogs are a lot more polished these days, you old tart. 😁
If Laney hasn’t managed to destroy it then it says something about it! Unlike a lot of ‘consultants’, Laney has actually been involved the actual development in most of the stuff that the companies produce instead of just having his name added to an existing product. Everyone has a choice in what they buy rather than being forced to buy any item of tackle they wish to use. Some people cannot afford/justify spending £400+ on a single reel so there has to be items in lower price brackets to cater for them. Not going to get some of the materials used in the top end reels within budget/cheaper reels but if the cheaper reels can do the same job albeit slightly heavier in weight, then not a problem imho when the reels will sit placed on rods which spend 90% of their life on rests/buzzers, a few grams isn’t going to make a difference.
@@davidhorne6725 Not at all David, I never said that. I am working on new developments now, but this was a reel that Cadence had developed already in smaller sizes, I tried the larger one's for carp fishing and found them to be excellent. Perfect for the carp market as they are. I also have dealt in the past with the company that actually make them and I know their customer base, which is impressive, so that gives me extra confidence in the reels. As I said in the video, James and I have a past history in product development and therefore we have used the same manufacturers along the way. I hope that clears things up.
