I first went with my Grandfather as an early teen. He showed me everything. My sister has the book printed about Cade's Cove and my heritage. Beautiful, isn't it?

Cades Cove is where my paternal family is from. John Oliver was my Grandfather's great grandfather. Tiptons, Shields, Carters. I hope you hiked Abrahm's Falls. It's worth the climb. You can find many of my ancestors in the Methodist Church cemetery. Fact.

Lots of wildlife early in the morning and later in the afternoon. I have had the pleasure of visiting twice. I was married on the other side of the mountain, in Wears valley on top of a mountain, in a little white chapel.
