As their training progresses into enforcement tactics scenarios, the Cadets of CTC 1-22 are assigned their company commanders and squad leaders. For the few who are chosen, this honor comes with the great responsibility of leadership over their fellow classmates. The class also participates in the most sacred tradition at the CHP Academy, the Fountain Ceremony, which honors those in the Department who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
