I take this over any Mercedes or BMW. This is true luxury. King of the road with a proper V8. I actually like the interior better than anything else in the world. Period. King of the road.

Great Video and loved how you let us know that it’s NOT just a nicer level Chevy … Cadillac is learning what Lincoln already did which is give a Different interior than the lower price point vehicles on the same platform

The most beautiful pieces of wood that I’ve ever seen in a vehicle and I have personally been in a Rolls Royce Phantom. The details of this wood and the materials used here are absolutely top tier! The *Escalade EV* shall put the world on notice, _again!_

It's so funny. My family heard someone explaining that they owned an Ess-ca-LAAD-ay, and insisted on this "Spanish" pronounciation. My mom, dad, brother and I have called them EscaLAADay's for well over a decade now. Until Paul, I've never heard anyone else with this pronounciation!

I would take the Blazer once a day and twice on Sundays over the Range/Land Rover. The Chevy Blazer has beautiful lines, Ravi Peiris M.D.

If I'm getting a large 7-seater SUV I want to feel the presents of a large 7-seater SUV, not some large SUV trying to drive like a sports car and kind of failing at both.

The largest Mercedes compared to the Escalade ESV is SMALL. I started with a 2007 Suburban which I liked a lot. Upgraded to a 2017 Escalade ESV which was a huge step up. Just ordered a new Escalade ESV Platinum. Ride quality and the quality of the interior is another huge step up. Look at the Escalade screens which blend beautifully into the dash and compare to the Mercedes which looks like they glued an iPad onto the dash - yuk

That came from the Dori character in Finding Nemo. I use it all the time now, and have actually used the Spanish pronunciation for the Escalade for years as well. Spun off of the Finding Nemo Escaaaapay thing for me.

how’s the visibility of children in parking lots ? doesn’t this have big blind spots ? do the “driver aids” take care of it or does it have a nice 360 cam or smthn ?

Cadillac hasn't used Standard of the World for decades. That phrase is mentioned in all your reviews on Cadillacs. I understand a want for Cadillac to be that, they aren't. Sorta comes as wanting only nostalgia will bring you.

Cadillac has continued to use standard of the world references in press materials we’ve seen in the past year. While it isn’t their current leading ad campaign it’s definitely an on-going part of their brand identity.
