Those numbers are actually insane. Half of them are completely disconnected from reality, and half of them are completely disconnected from the idea of treating esports like an actual sport.
Maybe this is just where i live in NA, but the 3 dentists I've been to throughout my life always have the dental assistant clean first and then they go check if anything is wrong.
@@kktest1357 its both, first you check if you have to focus on cleaning some parts in particular and then you check for health issues. The reason why its 2 different people and he had a bread inbetween is that a technican can clear your teeth but a doctor needs to check health and input it into the system
@@xsision5513 If you're a good enough team, you can rack up enough points to still make playoffs. T1 last year had the poby incident which made them go 1-7 while faker was on leave but they still made playoffs, got 2nd, and won worlds
@@sanhakim1335Faker was travelling through parallel universes and absorbing his other selves’ power, not competing in a random event where league gets less attention than a thirst trap ad spamming rip-off
Honestly, I'd rather have Saudi's pump cash into esports to see it flourish than to see teams scraping the bottom cuz nobody wants to put in the time and effort anymore.
@@VahndammeThe worry its that teams become more irresponsible with their spending during esports Winter and when the saudis decide they’re done playing games it’ll hit 3x worse for orgs.
msi is about adaptation🧐 blg & tes : lpl msi buff geng: coach buff + chovy buff debuff t1: faker international buff + 3 years rooster buff + kkoma buff + tom buff + coaching stuff buff anything outside of lpl & lck in semi final will be shocking thou which makes it less hyped😢
How does a super close lck final make gen g at a big advantage? I would say its evenly matched with a tiny sprinkle of advantage for gen G and if you plus it with gen g international that equals T1 big advantage
I mean if you look at everything before the finals Geng looked far stronger. Sure the finals was close but that doesn’t suddenly erase the fact that T1 lost to HlE twice
if t1 goes to 5 games vs their supposed hard counters, they'll just smoke everyone again. they won worlds after getting 3-0'd by geng. now that its 3-2,with t1 playing vs HLE a day before.
Dental hygienists and dentists are separate professions, like a nurse and a doctor. The hygienist cleaned your teeth, then probably left cause her time was done.
Thats weird, in bavaria at least it always goes hand in hand, the doc drops in and checks the teeth and the apprentice cleans them afterwards. Berlin is different i guess.
Yes, i'd be ok with it if the prize pool distribution made some sense, but it doesn't, given that some less popular games than RL have a bigger prize pool.
Could be the same thing Caedrel talked about with League that they want to cap the prize pool for this event so that it doesn't override any of the majors/worlds
LCK CL teams might actually wipe EU and NA. Remember Damwon when they were just a challenger team? They were wiping everyone in scrims during Korea bootcamps
You don’t have to say it…. We know… but it’s crazy how lol only has 1 million, for the biggest esports in the video game history. They only get 1 million?
@@stevenchen9852I'm pretty sure it's what he said about riot putting a limit on the amount so it doesn't upstage them. You can't have another separate entity have a bigger tournament than you or you risk orgs placing more priority into those tournaments over yours. Look at Apex legends with its 2 mil prize pool. Orgs who recently left competitive apex are literally coming back just to sign some players and go to this World Cup tournament
@@RacyGleemaybe viewed sure, but number of actual players would definitely be them. But unless you access to Chinese data it doesn’t really seem that way
Do you know how popular league is in China and the eastern regions… in China you either play league, honor of kings, or pubg there no other game… in Korea motherfker faker is like a icon over there.. everyone knows him. Also viewership wise, league rocks mlbb. Mlbb got 5 million during their finals… every game that includes the lck or lpl was rocking with 6 to 7 million viewership. That doesn’t include costreams from people like caedrel etc
Honor of the Kings is also a League rip-off (Tencent made it after Riot refused to make a mobile version of League when advised to), but it was released one year before Mobile Legends. Only people in China, Brazil, and sometimes the Philippines play it so it's not as well-known overseas. Though they are the highest-grossing game in 2023.
This event is not really about Western viewership + Chinese consumers generate most of the revenue in Saudi's tournament + HOK's domestic tournament KPL has a prize pool of ~$3,000,000 anyways so I'm not that surprised about the prize pool
@@BestMomentsHD this is true. if you aint a contender in dota, you aint getting much. like look at how many disbands and roster shuffles dota get from EVERY single tournament. their salaries are so heavily dictated by prize pool.
Honor of kings (hok) is the biggest mobile game in China, same goes for pubg and MLBB for Asia ,the viewership, the prize pool , the player base for mobile games is way more compared to any PC games.
You really underestimate mobile game is popularity hah ? Alot of them has a huge playerbase that prob never get to mention like Pubg mobile, mobile legends, etc some of them even reach 4-5 mil viewers on grand final
@@willisbronze9984 and those 4-5 million viewers is still less than the World Final of league of legends. Even the Korean league finals get 3 millions viewers. Dota, CS and LoL are the 3 biggest sports in the world with the biggest orgs and the most famous players, and 2 are being disrespected.
@@swoqix2892 only league tbh, cs and dota2 still can't hold a candle to those. The most view event of e sport ever top 5 has league and rest is all mobile legend
Crazy no one mentioned Rookie for laning, seems like he is kinda forgotten with him being on bad teams unable to carry them to worlds but for me Rookie is the best in terms of laning
@@ojfeh I think you haven’t watched his recent series, almost carried 1v9 vs JDG in an inferior team, his botlane ran it in game 2, in general NIP doesn’t have top 4 players in their roster apart from Rookie and maybe Shanji, still managed to get them into top 4. I really hope he gets to worlds so people can see him again, he is forgotten
@@elrashomakween ML is better than League rn but it's defo not bcs of the prize pool lmao. ML prize pool is bigger than League's bcs ML is more popular in ME than League
