Well we dont know if he had a conversation with the people from his own team before the interview, most of the time u get the questions they want to ask beforehand so u can prepare answers. (This is how 90% of interviews are made when they arent live) You'r also coming from an american standpoint, Inspired is from EU (specifikly Poland) and you have no clue how their customs are where he grew up. To be fair in EU its not uncommon to be as Caedrel said rather Direct because we arent some sensitive children like Americans are , we can handle beeing called out when we do mistakes.
yeah we in eu think of us being civilised and having manners, cause we flame our teammates, publicly, we think we are superior for being european alone, also we dont think constructive criticism is a thing and lol is not a team game at all its more like a formula 1 team.
@@Slashresto Does not matter where you're from that's just being a poor teammate. Any sport you play, you play with what you have and support your teammates. You can call them out, be blunt, have differences and disagreement that's being competitive everyone gets that. When you just say my mid is trash compare to others it might be true, publicly saying that is being a bad teammate, they have to play together again right? Jensen must be stoked . If Jensen got released and he'd be saying these things who cares that's his opinion and how he feels but they still have to play together, I think anyways lol.
@@SlashrestoI hope you can tell the difference between being direct to someone's face in private and talking about how an opponent player is your dream boyfriend compared to your "vegan" midlaner in an interview. I'd be concerned for wherever you're from if talking shit about your teammates in interviews is considered gentlemanly.
@@Slashresto ah yes, the classic "we're EU sigma males not NA crybabies" - I'm beginning to think people in EU lack the basic ability differentiate between public and private settings...
I don't think having this kind of opinion is a problem in itself, if Inspired firmly believes Jensen (or more so his gameplay) is one of the main problem of the roster, I think it's important that he share this opinion within the team to make sure they are all on the same page. The true problem is that he shares his unfiltered opinion to the public which is a complete dogshit move towards his teammate, especially when he is glazing a direct concurrent at the same time.
yes but its clear how hes "flaming" jensen here is that he holds jensen to a higher standard because he knows jensen is a good player. theyre friends dude
I will never understand fans who want to only hear from the players when they talk through some PR firm or something. I prefer we can have some personality in the league.
I agree although after watching the series a few times alone, and as VOD reviews of other LoL pros of this series it’s safe to say that they all had an off series the fact that he calls out Jensen specifically over one particular play that he goes over and over and over again just proves that’s the moment he gave up on the game and maybe the series. I don’t particularly like Jensen but to sit there and listen to Inspired just go off about all this during an interview and has no concern how this will affect his team going forward is just selfish. Like you said it should have been done in a private setting with his team and not blasted to the entire community. It makes it seem like he doesn’t care about his team, teammates, coaches or anyone except himself and being the best…big yikes
"this is what happens in EU" Then you hear about Rekkles asking T1 if he is getting kicked because he didnt play well and they like him as a family..... clear diff in mentality, yeah you can point out misplays but you dont need to call everyone inter and stuff, like damn you are in one team
nah but like u are acting like saying “jensen fucked up the level 4 that game” is like equivalent to saying he is a horrible player and needs to get kicked, i feel like so many league players have never played team sports before, its fine
@@domikatzWatch the full interview where he complains about jensen for like 8 full minutes while comparing him to Jojo like jojo is his dream boyfriend. You act like you played real sports, but you take that shit private from my experience. You get checked for pulling this shit behind someone's back in an interview.
@@kenjoo2850i mean him shitting on jensen is mega cringe in this scenario, i think behind closed doors talking this is perfectly fine as long as you aren’t saying shit just to be rude but in a public interview just after losing finals and basically saying ‘hey everyone! i think the person responsible for your favourite team losing or you losing your bets is THIS GUY, HE SUCKS’ is pretty crazy considering how hard he was glazing his own plays at the same time, confidence and arrogance is fine but the lack of self awareness in how he comes off is crazy
@@domikatz You saying this makes me think you're the one who's never played a competitive team sport - you can and should call out your teammates when they need it (in traditional sports, it also depends on the team culture being cultivated by the coaches), but you don't put them on blast in a public interview and detail all their mistakes. The problem isn't the content, it's the context
@@jaydee4177 that, except what he's saying is "my teammate is dog, enemy team so good, me and bwipo are the boys, Fck everyone else specially that Jensen guy, but ofc ofc it is also my fault but bwipo that guy so gud, impact so good, jojo so good." problem is hes blaming his own teammate publicly while glazing the enemy team specially when hes talking bout impact when impact gapped Bwipo...like bro VEGAN this VAGAN that while Jensen is playing Karma, do i think he was making mistakes? yes but this is not it. you should watch DL watching this who is also a Ex- Jensen teamamate.
Am I losing it? The amount of people I see saying that "it's EU culture to say that to your teammates". Like no shit bro but there is such a difference between saying it after a scrim or something when you're talking with your teammates in private and to say it A) publicly and worse B) when the person you're talking about isn't there to talk about his side. Like bro imagine you just lost a grand final and your teammate goes on an interview immediately afterwords and is like "yeah I didn't play great but like did you see that dude in mid bro was inting" like what. And also to not flame Bwipo too is crazy. Like Bwipo was RUNNING it that entire series. He and bot were by far playing the worst imo. Really makes you think :).
This.... No one would have a problem if he called out everyone. But acting like this loss wasn't on him (those Baron calls lost them 2 games) and Bwipo (couldn't win lane to save his life) is actually insane.
@@Ember_Son He said he made some bad decisions. And its not about making bad plays, its about being scared to make plays. Thats why you see him talk about Jensen not flashing in fast enough. Or him walking back being bad. Thats why you won't see him flaming Bwipo, because even though the plays Bwipo made didn't work at least they were strong plays that could have worked. Its about being proactive.
tbh the thing that I don't really get is that jensen wasn't playing noticeably terrible compared to the rest of fly and singlehandedly losing the series. like if inspired wants to be super blunt and candid about his teammates not playing well, sure, but it feels really weird how he just directed 90% of the blame towards jensen as if bwipo was playing out of his mind or something. and when he does put blame on himself, it's always along the lines of "yeah I guess I played badly there by not doing well enough to carry my garbage team". idk. I've been watching the LEC for 5+ years now and I watch a lot of player interviews, but they generally feel a lot more respectful than this one.
yeah, odoamne talked about how the atmosphere on the team was completely awful before hans and inspired left. and hans is a pretty quiet, mild dude, so I doubt that he was the one singlehandedly tanking everybody else's mental
U had Trymbi and Inspired on the same team. Ofc your gonna have some tension on that team. Actually amazes me how he complains about Jensen being static on mid when in fact he played with Larssen two fucking years. This dude lives on his own world
@@jdmd3247This is a mischaracterization of Larsen. The second year they played together Larsen was playing champs like Lucian and TF a lot and playing for his team. Rogue used to destroy early games and he was a big part of that, roaming around helping Inspired + the bot lane get ahead
A lot of folks equate being an asshole with being open and direct. So I feel the need to emphasize that one can be direct while also being honest, thoughtful, and kind. We have the term "sugar coating" for when someone betrays honesty with overly-positive talk, we also need a term for what Inspired is doing here, which is betraying honesty with flame.
So you're glad a keyboard warrior that got hard carried by his team won instead? I'd much rather take the dude who plays well and reflects on his mistakes
@@josephnolan6323 when did he reflect on hes mistakes ? when he sayd he fuckd up? even then he blamed Jensen for it and Apa playd well in playoffs.I think hes super cringe but he playd well and thats a fact.Ill take cringe keyboard warrior vs enemy team any day over a guy who flames hes teammates like this in pablic interview. If this was just a private talk with Jensen where they can talk to each other no problem but pablic?nah
He's a very good teammates. Hes acknowledging everyone's mistakes even his own and the opponents. And lets not act like he isn't just the best player on that roster. I think its terrible to say it during an interview in front of everyone especially if its behind teammates permissions / without their consent, but this is something you need to be able to admit behind closed doors with ur team during vod review. You improve by thinking about what went wrong and what could be better. LoL is a team game u cant win if u only think about urself u also need to be thinking about ur teammates and helping them improve too. Don't see the issue, these statements aren't rare amongst teams and they aren't toxic either. Most teams will say things like this during vod reviews they post anyways just a bit weird that its in a public interview with only one person present. Like during team interviews Faker will do the same and point out his teammates mistakes as well as his own.
@@Tristan-ne1vz No. The cognitive dissonance people like you have on this is ridiculous. You can't say that he is a good teammate while also saying that he shouldn't say this publicly. Stuff like this is fundamentally at odds with being a good teammate.
Inspired and Bwipo inted so hard tbh, they are the reason that they lost not Jensen, dude was in fucking Annie/Karama duty... It was fucking Bwipo who got the counter-pick just to be gapped hard by Impact
The difference in NA and EU team culture (that a lot of EU people dont get imo) is that NA expects coaches to handle the vast majority of flaming/calling people out. They take on the "bad guy" role, and teammates/equals should focus (primarily) on lifting each other up, it's a "brotherhood" kind of vibe. In EU (from what I've seen/heard) the players call each other out more and the coaches focus more on moderating the players discussion. Not saying either way is better, but that's the cultural disconnect
Part of the art of the interviewer is to gently prompt and allow the story to unfold - don't underestimate how your body language and demeanour allowed Rekkles to open up.
Yeon expressed his annoyance at Inspired's/Bwipo's egos, basically. You can probably find a clip on YT, or check the game 4 finals vod. It was during the first set of post-game interviews.
While the overuse of vegan was pretty cringe, people are overreacting about Inspired flaming his team. He called out both good and bad plays from both teams--like Caedrel says, it's like he is vod reviewing the series in his head. It comes off as harsh towards Jensen, but he also gave a pretty fair analysis overall.
@@Xabeutt saying something once doesn’t meet the definition of “overuse”. But repeatedly saying “vegan” about 50 times in a 10 min interview definitely does. Hope this thorough explanation of a basic english word was helpful!
he definitely overuses the word but it fits the context. he means that people aren't bloodthirsty (making pro active plays) which makes sense in the scenarios he listed
Flaming your teammate in a public space and behind their backs will never be good communication or something, it will always be worse than telling that to your teammate to their face.
I can’t lie. I love the Inspired thing, and I don’t think anything he says is toxic, its constructive criticism, although maybe it’d be better to keep it private. But Americans reacting so butthurt and so vegan, triggered because one EU player flames ANOTHER EU player is just too good content
Most aren't. Just the small minority tends to be the loudest. Same with any fanbase. Ronaldo, Messi, Lebron, etc. If you're the most popular individual/team, your fanbase will be so big that a few loud ones end up in there. What's even worse are the ones that use cases like this to generalize and shit talk others, fueling a whole argument amongst fans.
Only T1 haters will use the truck incidents as the way to generalize us, yea sure someone created a fond and asked all the T1 fans world wide to donate for truck renting, because all T1 fans are annoying turdbags, 100% real.
Eastern European here . Not from Poland so no country bias . But Inspired literally said absolutely nothing offensive . I would 100% agree with him . I perfectly understandable his mentality . Its a winning mentality don't try to destroy it ... Embrace it . We have less and less winning mentality in the west . This is Perks this is Jankos this is what got us far to begin with
@@lucasfavre1282 not true they handle themselves in the same team . But there are tens of interviews where people call Perks for being very direct and straight out flaming people
A carnivore tries to apply as much preasure as possible in lane, maybe even get kills, a vegan just focuses on last hitting, surviving, and grouping for neutral objectives.
Bunch of ppl crying on the comments this is why the region don't advance everyone is scare of taking responsibility or say the things that need to be said, his just pointing out the key points why they lost, and hes taking accountability on some int plays too.
@eidamgouda0609 TL is gonna walk every lec team on a leash and it's not even close. Worlds 2023 already wiped from you memory bro .. no flame just banter but tl is legit, they're actual gremlins who are gonna mine so much salt
@@9_billion_volts@9_billion_volts, don't waste your time lol. every year, LEC fanboys forget what occurred to their team. The only way they are getting any winnings out of maybe one Lck or LL team is on a b01. After that, they are getting rolled in just like every year.
People flaming him are either dumb or didn't bother to listen. He literally called out all of their mistakes, his own and his teammates. There's no bad blood in it. They are just honest people who are striving to get better. Grow the f up haters..
Nah i think trucking for drafts is probably the only valid reason. Pro teams are garbage at drafts. Just copy each other and go through the motions. Nothing well thought out at all.
Dude you must have no clue then. Not even gonna talk about performance, but he falls into the same category as selfmade. Fluctuating vibes, great mechanics. Same as Inspired really if we ignore performance
Anyone commenting that this is toxic has never been successful in anything in their life. Like this is how you improve and become better as a team. I would prefer inspired as a teammate over anyone who tries to just say nice things to your face because he actually wants you to become better.
sure communicating is very important but that could be done face to face and not him going on an interview and not letting the other person defend or explain themselves... like in this scenario he is not even letting the other person be a part of the conversation its literally a monologue and not a productive convo
@@annas9941 He is literally just stating facts. It's not like he is doing this behind Jensen's back. Everything he said here is something he probably has already said or will say to Jensen in review anyway.

@@D1L1vidzDumbass. If you're flaming your teammate, do it in front of them for the purpose of feedback. This bitch "Inspired" is obviously doing it to make him look good even though he also played like ass.
there are always haters, but most likely Inspired is a douche and anyway Caedrel thought rice was made of potatoe, so I wouldn't take for granted what's being said...EU has many vegans
The majority in my experience don't care one way or another. The main point is to not make your problems and choices someone elses problem. Like going into a normal restaurant and asking for something to be taken off or something is looked down upon. Just choose something you like, if theres nothing there that you like then don't go. Its fine to be a vegan but don't insist on other people around you eating vegan food just to please you.
europe consists of a lot of countries with different cultures so would be hard to answer. speaking for my country we have a lot of vegans here, maybe in poland they dislike vegans like inspired.
@@dt12121212 nah we don't care in Poland if someone is vegan or not, we don't like when someone is forcing things onto us just like vegans are forcing veganism in USA, so maybe why it's brought up as something negative

Like I swear to god people who are mad at Inspired here for talking liek this are so damn soft. In any team enviroment where the ressults are what matters people will be direct and clear in comunication if they care. From teamsports to restaurants, this is nothing. Now that might not be the best thing to do in a public interview, but it's perfectly fine to talk like this.
its just eu, we are like that here, we shit talk each other as friends/coworkers/teammates all the time and yes, we do it to each others faces. by inspireds terminology NA as a LoL region and also USA as a country is vegan. NA people are obsessed with being fake nice to each other and wording everything in the way that you dont offend the other person. we do not care about that in eu, we are direct and we dont cry when someone calls us out
yes you talk shit to eachother as friends/coworkers/teammates but you dont go on an interview and shit talk your teammates if you think thats ok then you're a complete moron
No way NA audience found that interview toxic. That's why riot be removing stuff like name viewing in lobby, chat pings and emote pings, cuz of them softies
no, because riot softies themselves, we don't have voice chat only because riot thinks minorities can't press mute button, no name viewing in lobby because riot dickriding otps, they think if u can't see toxicity it magically disappears
People are reacting badly because it would be 1 thing to criticize Jensen if inspired was carrying this series, instead of being afk with bwipo. You don’t see faker/showmaker/chovy shit talk their competitors much less teammates, and inspired isn’t even half a player they are.
it's just the vocal minority, i'm sure behind the scenes nobody in the team will be affected by it, i hope so at least because they have a winner mentality
