Fr this is beautiful. far from inappropriate- if our leaders don't share the gospel and help us form our consciences, we can quickly fall to evil, and sin. thank you for loving the person and not caring about emotions, which are fleeting and inconsequential as it pertains to our eternal souls.

Fr. Mike, 6 months ago I started a list of "Holy Catholic Priests" who are brave enough to speak the truth. I found this homity and added you tonight. Sadly, I haven't been able to fill a whole page yet, but I pray for all the priests and bishops on my list that in the midst of what I am sure is criticism from many people that you can hear God saying to you, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Father I will keep you in prayer. Jesus is with you. Please keep preaching the truth to all! The Church is in crisis and needs Jesus to cleanse it of all the evil that has infiltrated it at the highest levels.

Honestly, I never thought Catholics taught the Gospel because I have always heard they pray to Mary and the idols in church. I’m truly surprised here and oh Lord, I repent🙏 This is the pure Gospel! We are all brothers and sisters. I pray all these divisions will stop some day. We are all one in Christ.

Thank you for speaking and teaching the truth. I was involved in an argument with a "born again" believer a few weeks ago. I recited Biblical teachings and the born again claimed i was being "judgemental". Father Mike clearly outlines that Jesus was not a pushover. He was rebelious to the political climate of the time. People who want to teach feel good preaching of Christianity are doing nothing more them leading souls to eternal damnation. The pope francis is the leading aggressor of this.

A friend of mine who is Catholic sent me this message via instant messenger. I listened to this message and this priest is spot on with his teaching. I can assure you that God is in politics and has been since the fall of Adam and Eve. We get our court system based on the Ten commandments and how the Hebrews set up how to govern. We are to correct our brothers in the faith by confronting them with their sin with three or more believers to bring them back to the teachings of God. This priest is not throwing a stone but a word of correction which we are all to adhere to. I always check what a person teaches by holding it up to the scriptures and that means the whole bible. One needs to read and understand the whole bible and not cherry pick what is convenient for the moment. When you criticize this priest you are also criticizing yourself as well. A person at any time can stray away from the teachings of the scriptures but that doesn't mean they can't be put back on the right path. Joe Biden can't be both a believer in God and yet do and say the very things that go against what God says and does. You just can't have it both ways. Prove me wrong because you will find this in the gospels if you only spend the time to find it. I will not tell you because all of you who posted against this priest obviously don't know your scriptures and what God has to say about this situation. I encourage all of you to do some studying of the first five book of what you call the 'old testament' and you will see how God set up how we are to teach and treat Him but how we are to teach and treat others. Joe Biden brought this all on himself and he has to answer to us and to God for his words and behavior. In the end we will all have to answer to the one who will judge us all. Shalom

Wow. Standing ovation and loud applause to you Mike. I was raised and schooled in this very church where you are now serving, but became disenfranchised due to the many things I felt were wrong with Catholicism in general and the politics of the catholic church itself in particular. If more priests such as yourself were allowed to rise through the ranks of the church, perhaps millions of other people that have fled the church, such as I did, would still be a part of it. Instead, it has raised the most liberal individual it had to offer to the position of Pope. A Pope that now espouses the untruth that you don't need to believe in Jesus Christ, or even God the father, to go to heaven. Preach on Mike. Let the true Catholics of the world hear the truth, and the worldly Catholics flock to other non Christian churches, such as the Episcopal.
