Caesars Man Legendary Cologne Spray Fragrance Review 

I just grabbed a bottle of the Legendary version and it is fantastic. I was skeptic about the 10/10 scent but I have to admit, you were right. It is a blast from the past. It is a vintage Drakkar noir scent but lighter and fresher. I refused to pay the crazy $100+ prices and was lucky finding a bottle of Legendary for $29. I guess the seller had no idea? Awesome review. You're a true fan!! Amazing how the old cologne concentrations outlast most edp's these days. I'll always be a fan of rosemary lavenders myself. Add a fir or oakmoss note and I'm totally there!

I got mine summer of ‘92 from the Caesar’s Palace shopping concourse, Las Vegas. It was incredible. I started high school a month later. Wore it for most of September. And sure enough, I lost track of the bottle, saw no hair nor hide of it ever again. But the memories remain! Thank you for taking me back to that special summer. I’ll track downs vintage bottle one of these days.

I hope to get it eventually. I hope to get the "Legendary" version and at a good price. Thank you; I truly had not thought to get it before having seen this review.

A classic and great scent have received complements when I wear it

One of my absolute favorites. I still have half of a vintage bottle left. But, I need to wear it more often, as it's losing both its smell and power. Years ago, there was an indoor swapmeet close to me, that had tons of original formula bottles, for only $5 a piece! I wish I had known then, what I know now! :(

Hey K. I had a vague memory of your first review of this one while visiting the fragrance store last fall. I bought the reformulation, thinking it was the original version. I spent waaayyy to much on it, like double or triple the online price (I don't mind spending a bit more to support a bricks-and-mortar store, but come on). I really like the reformulation, but I think I would like the original even better, as it sounds like it is crisper, fresher and a bit less synthetic. Do you know when the last batch of the original version was manufactured? And how long do you think we have to enjoy that fragrance before all of it goes sour? By the way, that original version has got to be the most beautiful cologne bottle I have ever seen.

This really is a classic manly scent. It's such a manly scent too . If u add a Spray or two of Polo Crest with double sprays of Ceasars man legendary cologne spray or pour it out for a splash and then two sprays of Crest. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Seriously need to make a combo of both of them in one batch. It's that nice.

I have the one from Nevada but I just want to tell you all that there’s an older version of it from Los Angles that I have but smell very similar but little woodsier at the opening but dry down is the same . Longevity the LA version is more long lasting with more projections . Thank you for highlighting this beautiful fragrance.

How do people justify buying ultra reformulated sweetened water for $80+ when these top notch classics are a dime a dozen? I’m pretty much dedicated to only getting cheapies and clones from now on. Eventually these big name designers are gonna catch on to this trend & will start making powerful manly scents again 🤞🏽 hopefully

Good review, Am going to try it, I hope is not one of those sweet colognes of today, I prefer darker sour smells that no one is wearing as am not looking for compliments, am looking for signature cologne that no one is wearing.

Give English Leather Black a try. To me it smells like Duc De Vervin and Caesars man (new formulation) plus it’s like 12 bucks for 3.4oz

Bought this on your recommendation last year. I am sensitive to dihydromyrcenol which is moderate to heavy in this and also prevents me from liking green irish tweed and other colognes that use that note in high concentrations. Distribution on mine says Park Place entertainment which apparently was renamed to Caesars Entertainment in 2003. Instantly recognizable as derivative of Drakkar and if you like Drakkar and want a better performer a must-buy. Worn minimally due to my dihydromyrcenol sensitivity but performance is as good as anything I own. I do like this more than GIT which has even more dihydromyrcenol.

Tried the new version and yep it lasted about an hour. But it sure smelled great for that hour. I’m gonna have to go super heavy and see what happens.

Palace Reserve is the only scent I’ve worn that has drawn women in airport terminals to stop me and ask what product I was wearing. It was amazing, I have one bottle left with about 1 ml remaining. I don’t know why somebody hasn’t reproduced the product in original formulation.

I got some gift sets with the green juice, does not say legendary on mine. It says palm beach beaute llc delray beach USA. But says made in China. It is very good though! Floral and Green. Unisex. They should bring the original back! As close as it gets! Love the new one though. Performance is probably around 4-5 hours, I'll try it more and see. Thanks for introducing this one to me!

Nice video. I like that you review these scents that are less well known. Do you have any recommendations for a citrus fragrance that is more on the green, earthy and natural side vs classic and barbershop? Like a juicy zesty lemon with basil and Artemisia rather than a candy drop lemon wrapped in lavender, vanilla, and tonka you often find with these old school type scents. I like green and citric, more “gender neutral” if you will.

I found a 60-ml of this in a fragrance store for $50 today. I immediately scooped it up based on your recommendation, and I am not disappointed. I can already tell it is a beast and the smell is manly, non-cloying and clean. It really is a hidden gem, as it had probably sat on that shelf for years. That said, it must have a strong following to spawn a Chinese knockoff, since most discontinued fragrances simply disappear.

I bought Caesars cologne, unfortunately its formulated version but I like it, longevity is also good on my skin, similar to Drakkar Noir but Drakkar is better. In my opinion Drakkar is the best, there is a lot of similar fragrances, but there is only one king 😁

Your ratings are right on. The new stuff from China is horrible.. I definitely recommend buying the classic Version. Too many shops out there are representing the Chinese version has been the classic. Try not to fall for their scam.

Are you aware of a version with the ''Legendary Cologne'', detailed caesar on the box produced by ''Caesars World Merchandising'' ? The juice is yellow and not bright green like yours.

Fragrance net 4 oz bottle $ 16 .63 for 30 more mins then goes back up to $23

Also on Ebay I see two bottles of Caesars Man with Legendary Cologne on the bottle with yellow fragrance inside but one is in a clear bottle and the other is in a frosted bottle?
