The opening road scenes and closing road scene could very well be right here at home in East Tennessee of the Southern United States! Yes, it is amazing at the similarities found around the world. Many of our roads have become commercialized as tourist (rider) destinations. For example we have a road in East Tennessee & Western North Carolina, US129, that in just a short stretch of mountain riding, there’s 318 curves in eleven miles. It is nationally advertised as “The Tail of the Dragon”, and has become a very busy tourist destination. We also have many other roads in the area that have been given “nicknames” but will never see the traffic that US129 gets! Many of them are equal, if not a better ride. Then, there’s all he local roads between our communities that offer some fantastic riding with virtually no traffic. These are the roads we all enjoy and just don’t talk about! Now that I have managed to drool all over that gorgeous CX, I will congratulate the second and third place beautiful bikes and their designers, and of course, their builders ! Any one of these beautiful pieces of artwork could have easily been sitting at the top of the list ! And no doubt have also been given the countless hours that go into a successful build ! Each of them, in their own way, have that same simple design work of understated elegance, and timeless appeal ! And to that end, I congratulate all of the designers, and builders, that have put in those incredibly long hours in order to have something so special as the end result ! Great work gentlemen !

You have managed to capture that magic touch, that magic genie in a bottle, that many have tried to achieve, but have so often fallen a bit short on ! Like most of us here, we know the countless hours of design work, research, and refinement that has gone into this CX650 project ! Simplistic elegance has always had timeless appeal Victor ! This is one that could be in production today, and have a waiting list for it's arrival ! Not bad for a thirty five year old bike ! Victor Frankenstein would have been proud !

Realmente, Helio! Quando vi os videos que envolvem trabalhos realizados aqui no Brasil fiquei bastante admirado, pois aqui no Brasil existe uma dinâmica bem complicada para legalização de modificações veiculares. Parabéns ao RACETV por trazer a nós brasileiros a oportunidade de uma aproximação com o mundo Cafe Race.
We have a number of Porsche meet ups here in Scottsdale, AZ, but I would love a Cafe Racer show …it’s truly like looking at art versus a motorcycle. Such talent out the in the world and especially in Europe. Amazing !

The CX500 of the number 1 is spectacular. A motorcycle of which the brands had to take note to design real motorcycles with soul, motorcycles that fall in love with one of a crush. The perfection that this motorcycle distills is incredible. My sincere congratulations.
When I saw your cx only one word came to my mind immediately.....SOPHISTICATION. Then came refinement, classy, well balanced, exciting, original....but finally, BEAUTIFUL!!!! You nailed it! And the way you handle the gear changing with the throttle, just makes the engine sound shine.

Beautiful machines! In my opinion, the only bike that truly respect the Café Racer original ideia is the CG 125. But, thank God, ideias get renewed by new generations and the results are really showing how passion a man can put in a well done job still today. Video quality excellence do the rest. My compliment!

Wait, actually I was thinking of doing almost the same cafe racer as the number one, with an Honda GL 1100. They look very similar =) Nonetheless, I'm very happy to learn that a large amount of people love those bikes, it's nice to know =) Chears from France.
Congratulations, a well deserved honor for both owner and builder. Have you decided whether or not to build the alternate seat? Personally l think it would be a plus but l also know that here in the USA many don't like the look.
Thank you my friend for your support. I have been trying some modifications on the seat using photoshop, and i think i achieved a much better shape,and only with some some slight modifications to make it look more cafe racer. But i decided that it doesn't need a metal rear cowl. :) Cheers.
Over the past few years, I have seen that bikes get more votes and more tips of the hat when they aren’t overdone and have a more achievable transformation that the viewer can see themselves doing with their own bike. I think this is the correct direction because it serves the original intent of the cafe racer and serves to support the purpose of the resurgence that we saw a decade ago. I suspect this will change how professional builders approach the projects that they build in the future.

Thanks. Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real American voice in one of my videos, but things didn't work as I expected. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non-English natives. Cheers.
