Cafe Racer (BMW R1100 RT by Meeclassic Shop) 

Personally I prefer the original motorbike with R90S engine and kick-starter put in a R50/2 frame. It was an original idea of design (antique design inspired). I confess, I'm found of old flat-twins. However I must admit the R1100 replica has impressed me by the high technicity of its building! It's amazing, and even though I prefer oldies, this one is really beautiful too. Great job!👍

A builders dilemma. Build what the customer wants or just build your own designs. Make money or starve. Oh what to do. Since this was a custom build, I'm guessing the client requested this exact style or copy. And Mr Thamtaksin complied doing a wonderful job. The client of this bike should feel very grateful that Mr T took the job and did such an exceptional job in building it. Most custom shops would tell you where you can go! This isn't limited to custom bike building, but almost any person in a creative, artistic environment will react in the same manner. And if something goes viral and becomes a big hit, watch how many copycats come out of the wood-work to jump on the band wagon.

Personaly, I think it suits the man who owns it.

Always love the BMW boxer builds. But I am biased as a long time Beemerphile.

Paradox is a seemingly absurd or self-contradictory statement or proposition that when investigated or explained may prove to be well founded or true. Most likely that is what happened when a line of research is followed, that the results are strange, curious, paradoxical. I really like both bikes, because I think they are two masterpieces that are obtained by following different paths that end in apparently similar results. Simply by looking at the donor motorcycles they are so different that the technical work involved is completely different. It is like two rocks extracted from different quarries, the path of the sculptors is not the same, each rock was "cooked" by the geological forces that were unique. That is why Miguel Angel Buonarroti was meticulous in extracting the rocks that would form his sculptures, he knew that when he removed from the marble block everything that is not necessary the sculpture was already lay inside the stone block . The same can be applied to the three cases described, they came from different mechanical "quarries" therefore the paths followed were different, although as in the case of Miguel Angel, to reach the results he obtained he received inspiration from different sources. And since we are talking about this genius, we should conclude with a phrase that applies very well to these cases: The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and does not reach it, but it is too low and get. The aims were high, the results were superb. Thanks to Mr Thamtaksin, the owner of Meeclassic Shop, in Thailand extended to the customer who put the money and surely suffered patiently waiting for something so special. Beautiful, I couldn't agree more that a slightly higher rear suspension would make it more have a more aggressive forward pointing angle... This one is a bit better than the French one, which is really cool as well. It does feel like if you get into a front collision you'd be impaled by those front suspension :( ... that Bike @0:33 ... very, very cool!!!

Out of both BMW's I'd have the Norton, Why would anyone start with a bike like that, the only thing you can make out of one of them, is one of them, but somehow he made a very nice looking bike, but was he "Inspired" very probably yes, either him or his customer, at least enough to use the paint scheme, but I think I have seen that somewhere else, the "Mee" is better looking but it lacks the "Mechanicalness" of the older bike, & that's something I love to see, thing's like the cooling vent in the front drum break, they didn't have the knowledge to build a disk break but they knew what they had needed improving, so they did. I saw an Aston Martin bike in the flesh a few weeks ago, it's a very pretty thing, but I that where it ends, I'm pretty sure I could take it with my (Gassed) Gamma 500, but I doubt anyone will get the chance, even the guy I went with is going to put his in his living room, the Aston rep told me they weren't built for riding more for an investment & they chose Brough Superior because of it's name, history & it looked so dam good, but he didn't look to happy when I explained that the company now has abosofuckinlutly nothing to do with the OG company, they just bought the name. Anyway, thanks for another excellent production, & I hope your wife is enjoying her bike. Be safe.

Bold design, but awkward looking. Fuel tank is way too large, and the bike squat at the rear and one he'll of a stretch to the handlebars! You're not doing many miles on that....

Sorry, but this bike seems "Overdesigned" in many places and does not have a harmonious "seamless" overall look to it. Like great paintings, it's not how long it took or how much effort it took to paint it that matters. The same goes for great machines. The *KiSS* rule ( Keep it Simple Stupid ) is the right one most of the time in any design approach unless there is a very good reason not to , which would be hard to justify in this case IMHO.
