I don't know why but I'd never thought of the sliding back seat. I've been trying to figure out an easy way to have a two-seater attach to the back or something. This kind of blew my mind.

Just bought a 71 cb175 for $100 and a few tool. Needs a lot of work, maybe a grand. Feel like it's worth it. Intended as a starter bike. After that, who knows.

Reminds me of my little race bike, we called them tiddlers. Mine had a 750, 4 barrel and piston, it makes it a 150 then I used an xl185 head. Great bike. It was a cb125 when I started

I had no experience cutting things off of a motorcycle frame but did it anyway. I had no experience making and welding seat mounts and a wire harness pan but did it anyway. I had no experience making brackets to mount the rearsets but did it anyway. I have a long way to go on my build and much to learn and although I have worked on a number of bikes over the last 20 years I still find at times that I am stumped and have to think through a problem on my cafe project. But the enjoyment you get when a problem is solved and works or looks perfect is incredible. Keep giving us these great videos and someday in a better world we will ride our Honda S90s together.

Just want to thank you for all your hard work making Racer TV. THANKYOU! I am on with my first Cafe Racer project a 1979 Guzzi V50 and your video's have helped more than you could ever understand. I have done a good few projects in the past but never a cafe racer and nothing as old as my current project. I have tended to Stick to bikes I know from the 80's onwards. Most recent is my ZX12R and I also have a TZR 250 project in waiting to. Building your "own" cafe racer or any project is such a personal experience. All those problems what would seem insignificant take days to think of a solution, then could be hidden within the bike! Over the many years of motorcycling I have owned 40+ different motorcycles, some very special bikes Bimota SB6R and Ducati 888 ! "My" cafe racer is the one bike I will never part with! Thank you for the videos and congratulations on the 50,000 subscribers.

This channel inspired me at 55 years old to get my first motorcycle, a 1976 BMW 75/6. I plan to modify it tastefully. I must say this video (and a few others of yours) have got me thinking Honda 125. I love the simplicity, the light weight and the beauty of the bike. Well done and thank you!

I've been a Café Racer fan before I knew anything about bikes.. as kid I used to admire the big boys driving their Honda CB 500 Fours and at 16 I bought my first motorcycle - a Honda CB 125. I was the weird kid with all my mates where driving Italian 125cc racers (Aprilia's and Cagiva's). I you haven't done so yet, please try to document a conversion project from start to end! I do not really have a Caff Racer, I have a Keeway Superlight 200 which I have modified to my taste, It has the characteristics of a Bobber/ Brat. I changed almost everything in it to make it mine. I am not the most addicted viewer because I don't watch all the videos but it is these delights that makes me stay. I found RTV at the right time. I bought a Buell Blast from Harley-Davidson for $1,000 and yes it was a training school bike. The guy threw in another bike for $3,000(total) with tag, taxes and ready to roll because he was trying to get rid of them out of the warehouse. I sold one and that bike is running fine. Of course the one I kept had issues. RTV and a buell online site has become my home. Now as a write this, I am rebuilding the engine and doing mods to turn it into a cafe racer. Hopefully i will be done by next summer with the vision. Thank you for the imparting knowledge my good man.

Hi, I'd like to thank you for that video. It help me to decide to move a step forward to the bike world when I saw it in the beginning of the year. Like many people I don't have a motorcycle licence, so I decide to purchase a 125cc bike. Your project tell that everything is possible as long as you maintain some clear idea of what you expect from that project. Gracias your videos are an inspiration to me and a source of reliable information for my project . I love the cafe racer type of motorcycle since teenager, when I saw an old Triumph Bonneville, while I was walking to school, almost always parked in front of of an old viceroyalty palace in Mexico city, the beautiful machine glowed in their red and silver paint, before the walls of gray and red volcanic stone, a powerful image accompanying me since then. Every time I turn to my modest Pulsar 200ns, my daily vehicle to conmute, while using the street where lay my home to the avenue that send me to the country side, then to the six lane expressway to the two lane highway and finally the old cobblestone road a surviving piece from the antique regal road to reach the State Prosecution Office where I work, a daily journey through 30 wonderful kilometers. Every morning while I start my motorcycle I look at her with some adolescent eyes and imagine posibilities and at night searching in the Internet for ideas withing my budget I enjoy your videos. Dreamer on budget I am, with eyes on the road to build something possible but aiming perfection, with the soul of the old Bonneville inside me. Obrigado again

Racer tv has helped me with some of my decisions with my first ever cafe build its taken a very long time to build.. This and another video on small cafe racers made me feel like I've started with a good base in the Honda cb175.. I hope that one day it might be a feature on Racer TV..
