What a wonderful family environment these two son’s and father have developed. What better way to learning a craft, then from your father. His artistic eye in remodeling the gas tank is something 99% of all builders would have never seen or done. And it seems to have rubbed off hearing about the swing arm and disc brakes. Bravo on a family that continues the artistic craft from one generation to the next. Keep riding and building Jose Lourenzo and sons.

I wasn't a motorcycle fan until I met this channel more than a year ago. Even today I'm constantly impressed by all the creativity and craftmanship around the world. This is truly beautiful, sensational and inspiring. Thank you for sharing with us and many respects to these gentlemen for their work and dedication. I am not a fan of liquid cooled bikes, nor am I a fan of UJM (4 cylinder) bikes. But I can certainly make an exception this time. The end result was visually a much simplified machine but it took a lot of artistic engineering to get the stock bike to that final clean airy finished project. The new swing arm/rear subframe work is perfection and flows perfectly into the tank. The brass coloured velocity stacks are a real nice accent. Great ride and great presentation.
Had this bike as a background picture on my computer for a long time. Great to see some video of the build 😁👍 I have a stock 2008 I use for daily commuting. Thank you RACER TV!
My first big bike was a 600 Hornet, it was a great bike and I passed it on to my son. But it wasn't a patch on this beautiful Hornet. It certainly is a brilliant piece of engineering on what isn't an easy bike to convert into a café racer. Brilliant bike and equally brilliantly put together video story. The Lourenço brothers are like the blues brothers? Capable of achieving the impossible. And it certainly seemed impossible to transform something as massive and ugly as a Honda Hornet into what remembers better times gone by. The tank catches the eye immediately, but knowing the underlying story turns into marvelous. A work of art that arises from a common object. Retro rides then makes more sense than ever. All the works of the brothers that I have seen on this channel are something that calls the imagination. But now that the old classic motorcycles begin to be scarce. Don José thanks for this great tank!

As always a beautiful bike, "Nice & Simple" & we know how much hard work that takes to achieve. I never had a Hornet I was bang into 2 strokes back then, I had my Gamma 500, but I did have a "Genesis" & I was king of the world(well maybe not quite all of it) but they have done a fabulous job of it & it took imagination just to think of doing everything, some builders don't have that (but I'm sure you have seen a great many of those), they didn't make it easy for themselves. Unfortunately, I know first hand that "Bad Luck" doesn't always have to get better, but I'm glad it did for them. Oddly enough I'm at college studying AutoDesk Inventor 2022 at the minute & hope to use it to create some custom pieces. Thanks very much for another excellent post & stay safe my friend.

Sembra che siano partiti da un honda hornet modello 2003-04 con colorazione del modello successivo 2005-06, hanno fatto un grandissimo lavoro e sara’ anche costato parecchio immagino, una delle piu’ belle che ho visto. Complimenti per il lavoro ma anche per il video.
