Our family did a cycling trip in Spain from Santander to Gijon late April to early May. Obviously, there’s more ground to be covered on a motorbike but insanely beautiful country. Not over run by tourism.Picos are right there. I could move there in a heartbeat but my lottery tickets are not panning out. Pisses me off. Worth checking out. Lannes was one of our favorite spots.
Great to see you back out on the Tiger. Hadfield's looks a nice place, I must get there at some point with the Mrs and try out one of those Burgers and fries. 🍔🍟
Hi Nik great to see you back and must go to that cafe looks beautiful 😻 We called at Holmfirth car museum cafe at the weekend that was a lovely place if you haven’t been 😊😊 Glad your move went well and look forward to watching your adventures and bikes when you get time 😊 Enjoy your week Phil Green
Shame the big trip isn't going to happen. I can recommend the Pyrenees, we only had a week. Probably all the passes will be open by the time you travel.
Pity about the big trip to Turkey...I was looking forward to watching that. Life would be so much more enjoyable if work didn't keep getting in the way!! 😉
I had a ride up to Hadfields a few weeks ago, nice place, nice food, portions a tad small I thought, but those roads around there with the average speed cameras have made riding around that area a miserable experience, out of Lancaster the speed limit is 30mph for miles, and once you're beyond there the speed limits can be very vague with there not being enough speed limit signs so you know the speed limit, I'm no speed merchant and the limits are probably there for a reason but it's really spoilt those roads
Yes agree on the average cameras and your constantly looking down checking Speedo, I have nearly rear ended cars along there due to constantly looking down. On portions, great feedback to Hadfields. I sometimes find large portions too much and both times I have been it was enough to fill me. Love feedback though and can only be a good thing to feed this info back to them.
Yes think it was the old bee & sprocket, I never visited so can’t say if it looks different but great now. Will go back as it’s on route to my boat 👍 cheers Nick
Another newby here, I've just watched a couple of your wonderful vids IOM etc. What i do notice is you have different bikes , do you own them or are you a professional demonstrator? Also my lugs twiged when you mentioned a boat , unfortunately,im not so fortunate as your goodself, I've missed two summers as my old bike is simply being recommissioned and little to no response from bike shop, regards my little boat, i have been struggling to completely renovate due to cost of materials etc . That said, I've no Idea what type of boat you have but perhaps you can perhaps come up to Scotland with boat and bike on board and visit our fantastic coastline and islands with your family. Im on the east Lothian area, but you will enjoy the west coast also. Thanks
Currently own T120 Bonneville and Tiger 1200 Rally pro, I do get bikes from time to time press bikes but have recently stopped reaching out to manufacturers. Yes own a sail boat so no room to put the bike on it 🤣 love Scotland 🏴 and have ridden there many times 👍 many thanks for tuning in
Your welcome, If you don't already have this book ,I would strongly recommend it even if you're not sailing up here soon as it gives all nooks and crannies from Berwick upon Tweed to Duncansby head. East Coast of Scotland Sailing directions by Andy Carnduff and Forth yacht club n Martin Lawrence re Imray First Edition 2023. Grateful thanks for your reply
Fab video Nick, thanks for sharing. I had breakfast there a few weeks ago on a Sunday, it was excellent. It`s been open a fair few months now, it was a pie shop/factory before hand !
Hi, me again. I’m completely jealous! I’m in Idaho. Beautiful country, but a motorcycle desert. I’ve watched the UK vlogs for a while and the concept of designated motorcycle parking is unheard of. A designated motorcycle cafe, good lord! Let’s hope someone picks up the torch!
In response to your trip ideas, maybe you could go to Cornwall and venture onto st Michael’s mount. Freddie dobs went down through Cornwall on the fat bob or as I like to call it ‘obese robert’. Be a good spot to scout docks and smugglers coves for the bavaria.
Hi nick, just checked and I'd been unsubscribed, might be worth mentioning it to everyone. It constantly happens to me on some other RU-vidrs channels.
Good to see you back on the tiger. I know what you mean about the weather. It’s been pants. I dont want to sell my bike but its hardly worth throwing my leg over her because the weather is so temperamental. It’s nearly July, shouldn’t be having this weather. Sorry to hear about turkey. Was looking forward to those videos. If it floods, at least you have your boat. All the best on the house move. Such a stressful time.
It was called the Brew and Sprocket last year. I visited a couple of months ago, to find it closed down. Glad it’s open again under a new name. Great biking roads in that area. Keep up the great work.
Thanks 🙏 yes the artwork was very nice not cheep either the art work as it’s all work I think from an artist Greg Tillett as I own one of his limited pieces of Rossi and Marquez battling. I guess they could be prints though
@@MOTOUK1 it's just a thought not that far to travel well compared to Spain or southern France not sure what it's like as an island to travel around just an idea that came into my head wherever you go I'll be watching buddy
