Cafe Style DIY Dog Door

My new garden workshop is been built now and once set up I am going to do a how to video. The doors are a wooden frame with 4mm plexy glass to each side, with silver carpet door finishes cut to trim front edges, the hinges are stainless steel cafe style door hinges. You can add draft strip brushes tucked under the silver trim as required. The hole in the door will then been a frame making to fit the door with about 10mm clearance. All the parts can bee bought on Amazon. The plexy glass can bee cut with a sharp hand saw or table saw and the hinges can be set to a softer or harder close, but too softer close and the wind may push the doors open, but it would always go back to mid position. If will be a few months yet before I get the new workshop setup but I will do the video promise :-) Btw the doors are still working fine with no problems. Take care

Well, if those doors can handle your girls, they'll most likely handle anyone! Looks like you did a great job on them. I'm looking for something to close off a cat cage I built off a window. Right now, I've just got screen fabric and then a fabric curtain to close it off, but with temps approaching 100 degrees already, I've got to make something more air efficient. Might have to use this idea instead of top opening. When it gets too sunny, they all come in, but they freak out if they can't CHOOSE to go back out... control freaks! LOL
