I'm doing it,found 2 places in the US that to them,one is the farallon islands for 895$ for 1 day trip out of San Francisco with no guarantee the other is a week long Guadalupe islands for 3000$ with a guarantee,you'll see one or come back for free until you do. We traveled from the US to Botswana and South Africa in 2007 and got married in Hermanus SA, (about 1 1/2 hours SE of Cape Town). The day before our wedding we went GWS cage diving in Gansbaai. It is truly an amazing experience. Watching your video brought it all back again!

I know it was the scariest moment of my life! Kept control of the bowels thank goodness, but I was dangerously close to peeing in my wetsuit for warmth hahaha. We've never been to Maui, jealous! Have fun! :)

Fun fact: the spot where they were diving is also a famous big wave surf spot called Dungeons. When the right swell hits the reef there waves get up to 14m (46ft) in height. You can find some videos on YT of people surfing this sharky big wave spot.

That looked incredible! Glad you all enjoyed that experience. I know that's a great way to see what great white sharks look like close up since they're not in aquariums. I don't live near an ocean, and know this likely costs alot of money so I may never get that opportunity. So watching what it was like from this perspective was good enough.

That is really cool to watch guys. My anxiety level just watching you guys in that water with those huge predators was through the roof. Would love to see them myself but no chance and I do mean no chance of me climbing into a cage in the water. Definitely is a bucket list item though to watch great whites in their natural habitat in person.

Went and did it with Apex, then on to Gansbaai and Mossel Bay to do the same! My 10yr old niece went in the cage with us and we saw some big sharks, highly recommend it to anyone!!

Could have have done it is Australia but you stuck to the East coast. Fair reason, though Australian companies also use Compressed Air for cage diving too.

This is so cool. I've only just started to watch your videos. So far 21 in a row, from the start... Excellent btw. :). Out of curiosity, I jumped forward to see where you have visited and stopped at the Great White cage diving because I did this back in April 2008. We did it with the same company as you! You were so lucky, all I saw was murky green water, a possible shark shadow in the distance below me when in the cage and I swallowed a mouth full of seal shit!!!!!!!!!! Not all bad though, whilst on deck I did see a huge female pass by us. I could clearly see the black eye staring at me... I will always remember that! :) We also had the good fortune to come across a massive group of dolphins... I'm not joking, they were easily in the very high 100s! It was a stunning moment, even Rob the owner got his camera out to start filming. It was a very special natural event. :)
