Braeden Spradley why do people say this? Yet here you are looking at the video. Who cares when the comment is from. It will most likely be here for another 7 years...this isn’t like a forum where someone asked a question and 7 years later someone answered.
Imperfections are what make this band one of my favorites. They may not sound the best like but they way they interact with the crowd, The way they just connect with you on stage and just the energy they produce is amazing!
As an old dude, I still prefer the Talking Heads version, but the fact that this version is so amazing bears witness to how good this band is and how much they respect the original.
These guys are so AWESOME! Everytime I think they can't impress me more than they already have I find another awesome song! They are definately one of my favs for awhile now!

Honestly when it comes to classic songs by classic artists it's going to be really hard to do a cover of one of their most popular songs, but this guy really comes out with no ego in the vocals which is pretty cool and the Sonic Youth "Goo" shirt is pretty cool. Never really liked this band but this totally gives me a different perspective. So thumbs up.
This has to be one of my favorite covers of a song because of how quirky and different it is and it sounds like so much raw emotions was put into this cover.
In Come A Little Closer, Matt nails a high A. The note some idiots are freaking out about is a high A flat, so it's definitely an artistic choice. Problem solved.
Of course I love the Talking Heads version more, but they kind of got the vibe because Matt Shultz kind of has the same nervous energy that David Byrne has
I actually love this band and I really love this cover, even if Matt cracks the higher tone and his french pronounce is terrible... but, don't know why, I love it! And, Matt, let your hair grow long again, you were gorgeous
Im from barren county Kentucky (about 30 mins away from Bowling green where the band started) and I’m so happy to see a band from Kentucky that isn’t your typical shitty country singer
Good job... David Byrne would like it I reckon... from that punk era when giving it your best was what counted. Bass and guitar are excellent and a good vibe throughout. Voice cracked but I'd prefer that than dropping an octave which is what a lot do. Paid homage to original too.
