I don't normally post stories like this, but here I go: When my brother died several years back, I felt aimless. Music didn't sound good, food lost it's taste, and there was nothing I could do. I had listened to this album with him the last time I saw him before his death, but we only had one song left before he skipped town for the last time. For awhile, I couldn't finish it. Idk why, but if I did then it would become more real. That summer, I went down to the river during a stormy evening to finally finish the album. During the final bit where it goes more acapella, the wind died down and it went completely silent except for the song and distant thunder, and I knew he was still with me. Music is a helluva thing. Still miss you, Patrick.

I went to their unpeeled show in Northridge, CA and he ended the concert with this song, but he did it completely acappella. It was amazing, and I'm a bid sad there is no video of that around. So glad I got to witness it live. Thank you for a memory that I'll never forget, Matthew Schultz.

My gf just ended our 3 year relationship and as I was driving around afterward, this song came on my Spotify and it was the song I didn’t know I needed. It was soothing as I was driving around at 4 AM in a city where I know nothing, am nothing. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this.

I feel like everyone has some sort of meaning associated with this song, whether you found it in a good time in your life or a bad one it helped you in some way. Cage The Elephant's songs help everybody. I found this song when i was trying to leave and abusive household and Cage The Elephant helped me through that time so much. Thank you.

I've been to a lot of concerts, but this was by far the best concert I've ever been to. I went two nights before this concert in Knoxville and loved it so much that I went to this show in Nashville! I was also EXTREMELY lucky to find a 3rd row, center stage ticket!

I love this with the string quartet! When I went to their unpeeled show, he actually did this song acapella(sp?) which was beautiful, but the quartet adds so much.

Hands down the greatest band of the 2000s... I can't find a single track I don't love. I drive from Indiana to Florida an back and just hit play. Even pass through Bowling Greene (their hometown) and my daughter makes me stop for gas thinking there's a chance she could meet them. 😢❤

I'm pretty sure all the unpeeled videos are from the show in the Ryman Auditorium and I saw Glass Animals there and it's an amazing venue!! Cage The Elephant are incredible live, I saw them once at Purdue where I attend, and I would've loved to go to their show at this venue! Btw when i saw CTE, Matt and Brad came out in the crowd to play Ain't no Rest for the Wicked and Brad stood in the seat next to me playing it! Like I was touching him during that song! Not like trying to touch him, just cause he was that close to me! It's still surreal to think about!

The ending acoustic part is easily one of my favorite things ever

I just read a comment about guys girlfriend leaving him after three yrs and this song came on. I literally just watched my fiancé drive away after leaving me and this song was first thing that came on. As angry/depressing as it is, I’m so glad to know good music like this. My daughter and music is all that keeps me grounded anymore. I used to use drugs to escape now I use cage the elephant and others and I just want to say thank you for the amazing music

Sometimes, I have this weird fantasy where I'm 18 again, and it's 1997. I'm the only one who knows this song, and I play it on my beat up guitar for a crowd of friends and friends-friends. Everyone listens intently. No phones or videos. The song ends with dead silence because they were not ready for such music.
