Your voice is too angelic and celestial, Cai! Grateful Greetings from the United States! As a preteen in America, I say your voice is as beautiful as an angel from heaven
There was a time when I felt that I had seen and heard all the magnificent voices from this world. But I was mistaken, because after listening the voice of Cai Thomas, I became aware that I am hearing something completely new and truly angelic. Thank you, God, for giving us this unique gift. Love from Serbia to Cai...
I imagine my late dad singing like you when he was a choir boy. He always told me he could sing the high notes really well. Your range is astounishing wide. Your tone is so bright. Beautifully sung. Thank you.
This shot me right back, more that half a century ago - how strange to write that - to when I studied this piece in a very different place and time. I did not learn the ornaments for the last variation. So familiar and loved. What a lovely voice this young man has.
Just beautiful!! My grandma was Welsh, she had medals from competitions. My dad had a beautiful voice also, he was always the lead in the operettas in school. My Aunt and her husband sang duets too! J,ust about the whole family sang or played an instrument. People used to say, well that's because you're Welsh! I guess that's true. The first time I heard Cai Thomas sing I was overcome by how beautiful it was and it usually brings tears to my eyes. He's such a handsome boy! How proud his parents must be! By the way my last name is Wells and my great grand mothers name was Reese. So I guess we really are Welsh and proud to be!
❤This is stunning! As this and all of the young Cai's videos and recordings are! They will stand the test of time , for years to come. Now we have his early baritone pieces to follow with him! It's so good to listen to everything he has done, and will do, so beautifully ! Thank you ❤
Quel moment de sublime chant .... Il apporte "quelque chose en plus", nous rapprochant de l'"Ultime" Un grand merci à tous ceux qui ont permis cet échange entre lui et nous dans un monde tellement agressif
Beautiful but the plunky piano should be replaced with the organ. Also the piano sounds near and Cai distant. The sound quality needs improvement but the soloist is marvelous.
Moved to tears as I listen to this talented lad. It is sad that one day his voice must change. As a one time choirboy, I remember those days well and with much nostalgia. Cai Thomas, you are truly a joy to listen to.
I just love this so much! We all have so much beauty to treasure in our disordered world, we just have to find it! This is where it is ! Thank you, Cai, and all that help and encourage you, for the joy of your singing. Never stop! You are a beautiful young baritone now. Keep going!!xxxxx
I love playing this piece on piano. I first learned of it from a Baroque compilation I had from a long time ago and found an arrangement online. What a wonderful performance of it on this video, Cai ! Cheers!
The sound is so soaring and seemingly effortless. Pitch dead on. There are not words... I agree with others, record as much as possible while you can. That said, your technique and superb musicality will follow you when your voice changes. I can't wait to see the product!
@@caithomas2787 Do you know Sebastian Carrington? He also used to be a chorister in England but now sings as an alto in his church choir. Wish you all the best in your singing career.
I am very sorry for my poor English. I like ‘SEREN’ very much and it’s a treasure to me.✨All the songs on the cd give me happiness.😄 Above all, ‘Lascia ch’io pianga’ resonates in my heart. Because this song made me know you for the first time. I read the explanation attached to ‘SEREN’. And l think your love for the songs and respect for the co_stars make your voice even more beautiful.🎶 I hope you will come to Japan and sing someday. 🙏🇯🇵
It's a great pity that only a very few boys have the opportunity to savour the sheer joy of using their singing ability before the treble voice disappears forever. I sang in an ordinary Parish Church Choir. The experience nurtured a love for good music which has been a support comfort and joy all of my life.
This is fine singing by a treble. Not too much nervous wobble and a clear tone. There is a wonderful recording on you tube of the St. Matthew Passion sung by a German all male choir. The boy soloists are quite astonishing and sing with minimal vibrato and a maturity and confidence, which has to be heard to be believed.
Enjoy seeing you in your videos. What will you do when your voice changes? Such a pretty church, but that green dossal curtain behind the altar has to go. It is drab and ugly. Should be crimson red velvet. I hope you have a long and happy life.
Remarkable. Makes you wonder what a gifted castrati at the height of their power would have sounded like. Cai has a brilliant gift, and I'm glad we live in a time where his voice can be heard by so many, and preserved. Treasure of the Welsh People.
L’accompagnement est beaucoup trop fort qui cache la si belle voix de garçon, je pense qu’une guitare aurait suffit, voire rien du tout , la voix de Caïd est tellement extraordinaire...
It has been a very challenging year for all. But in all that we had more time to indulge listening to music. Your voice is so unique and calming an absolute pleasure to listen too .
Cai . I heard of you last year.. Im proud of your work and your voice.. Keep it going.. My son, Johannes a chorus member too, I wish he has all the skills you have. He sings lot of songs but nothing classical like yours. Maybe you and him can get together? He is 13 but going on 14 in MAY. His voice hasnt broken yet.
