SportsCenter breaks down the No. 6 Iowa Hawkeyes' 108-60 win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers where Iowa phenom Caitlin Clark dropped her sixth triple-double of the season with 33 PTS, 10 REB and 12 AST. With her 3-pointer with 4:29 left in the 4th quarter, Caitlin Clark passed Hall of Famer Lynette Woodard in career points. Clark joins Holly Rowe after the win to share her admiration for the women's players who paved the way for her to succeed in the game she loves.

@tmedley5091 She was also building reps with back-ups, which is pivotal when players get in foul trouble during the tournament. She is also the reason why the stadium is full and everyone knows it. Jordan had the same thing. People come to watch her, don't want them to leave disappointed.

Literally the biggest mistake in women's basketball is giving exclusive television rights to Peacock for many of Clark's games this season. Shutting out a lot of people from being exposed to her.

You know why she was still in there ESPN clowns? Because people pay money and bring their kids to see her play and she gives them 48 minutes of fun and joy. Nobody else in the country can sell tickets to road games like Clark does, PERIOD. She moves the needle in ways that only a select few have ever done. So, to the woman teleprompter reader, stop hating and stop with the snide comment "why is she in there?" Just sit down, shut up, and enjoy the show!

First of all, it is not Iowa's job to avoid bruising Minnesota's ego. Clark's scoring was right in line with her season average, and she needed every point to pass Woodard. Second, your points are valid except that NCAA games are only 40 minutes long.

For all those asking why she is still in there, she only played 29 minutes of a 40 minute game. People paid to see her. She is very good at helping her teammates score, and she wanted everyone on the floor to score. Iowa had 5 players in double-figures, 2 of them non-starters.

I'm 66 yr old dude. For the last 10 years I have said womens sports is more Exciting to watch because they play hard and want to win unlike the NBA and other male pro sports. Of course I was called a pervert by my male friends of my age. I am just saying that the way some women play in Every sport is so much better than when I was in my prime at age 22. I did play college basketball, and baseball at a small college. Caitlin is making it known and glad to see major networks broadcasting

Shout out to this awesome balller, handles herself with class and is the real deal. But, lets keep it real here. They say she will break Pete Maravich's all time NCAA record if she scores 18 on Sunday, no doubt she will. However, no way you can compare the two, and, as awesome as this accomplishment is ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE to what Maravich did. What it took Caitlin 130 games to do he did in 83...If you're counting that's 47 more games that includes a Big Ten record of 498 3's...Perspective and context counts...Keep these 2 records as well as women and men's sports separate because they are..

What we are comparing here is total polnts not shooting percentage, assists, or whether one considers the players to be ball hogs. After Plum's record we have to level the playing court. For every three point shot of Clark's you have to deduct one point. I don't know about Lynette's record but Pistol Pete's record only contained his varsity points not his freshman year. So I doubt she will ever truly pass any scoring record besides Plum's. Any other scoring record she sets should have an asterisk beside it. Not a hater but truth is truth. Give the other players their due.

It’s absolutely ridiculous and silly to compare her to Pistol Pete… it’s not even close… Pete avg 40.1 ppg for a career, and he wasn’t allowed to play as a freshman. Plus, besides the obvious, the competition levels are worlds APART… worlds apart… and if you can’t see this then you are in some serious denial… let’s put this in perspective… if Pete played against women, he would have averaged 80 points per game, then add the three point line to that equation … not even close… she’s a great player I’ll give her that, but the comparisons need to stop… they are two completely different games… also, Maravich played in only 83 games

Playing with a all time great, getting sold out games on the road, being in front of 10,000+ people and on national tv all the time? Yes, must suck for anyone competitive who's only playing sports for another year or two. I'm sure they'll feel better at a local pick up game as a team down the line.
