The WNBA has to get ready for next year by doing the following: FIRST: The current collection of referees has to be totally replaced with trained knowledgeable, experienced, credentialed, first class referees who will be advised the referring rules are to be enforced. SECOND, the WNBA has to clarify exactly what the referring RULES are that are to be enforced, by, for instance, creating a film of last years hits to player's heads, poking a player's eyes, running into a player's back throwing them to the floor, blocking landing space from a player in the air shooting a jump shot, and every other act of physical harm that is not a "Basketball Play" but just an intended physical attack on another player. (Eliminate use of the term "physicality" which is just a term used to excuse physical harm by one player to another.) Most importantly, the owners of the WNBA need to replace current management with basketball/business professionals who actually know how to operate a professional basketball league. The current managers of the league have done their best. And we have seen what that is.

Caitlin Clark is a honest individual . And she's no coward. She just wants to play basketball.

It is not just CC. The Fever didn't lose those two games, the first was the result of, in my opinion, an attack that left her playing with one eye, leaving her without stereo vision. Of course her point count was down by more than the ten points; this also affected the efficiency of her teammates. Both the first and second game had the refs calling for the other team evidenced by the great discrepancy in foul calls and the stop-clock screw-ups benefiting only the Sun. These are just my opinion as a spectator,, but if the WMBA is going to press its collective thumb on the scale, I'll watch paint dry.

No they just play basketball and we need more teams like Indiana that don't show up to have fights with other players!
