It would be different if Clark had been hotdogging, taunting opponents, dissing people in interviews, but I never saw anything other than a hugely talented woman displaying what we all love to see in our sports heroes. Hustle, grit and goodwill to the WNBA. The jealous vanity queens beating her up every night just showed how their ignorance tanked their league and exposed their insecurity. CC will survive and thrive in Europe. I feel badly for the many WNBA players who just want to make a decent living without getting sucked up into the drama of these losers. She was more than rookie of the decade. She is the most important player this league ever had. You could make a case for a few who may have more ‘talent’ in certain aspects - but no one has ever had a bigger impact. She made a league that very few people even cared about into an instant box-office smash hit. She should have been treated like women’s sports’ royalty, but they chose to belittle, disrespect, and bully her. A classic case of ‘cutting off your nose to spite your face”. There is NO doubt that this was textbook racism - cannot let the ‘white girl’ show up the mostly black players in this league. You only need to look at the comments - and treatment of her - by a lot of those players, coaches, refs, and commentators.

Only one person that has game, CC. Females don't do well in BB, they don't adapt well to the fundamentals. As long as they want to do it their way, they will fail. I saw one player, Angel walk away from a camera, she's a beautiful young lady, but her ALPHA giggled like two bowls of Jello.
