SportsNewsLovers1, you have an awesome sports news channel. I enjoy much. Just please quit asking stupid questions for clicks. That be Joe Biden team tactics. Thank-You.
We are so proud of you Caitlin you are a true professional, humble, kind, and a great attitude, and a great role model for young women! You are the Best ever!👍❤️🇺🇸
in my point of view, as caitlin clark shows the evulotion of basketball in professional manners shes inviting young ones to follow her in longterm of a good and willing athlete promoting an example to just enjoy the play in not harming anyone + good attitude to all...
Caitlin is flirting with triple doubles every night, running point, and is #1 on every team’s scoutings report. It’s crazy to be comparing her to someone getting double doubles in rebounds. Reese is a baller for sure but if there were no politics or resentment, this wouldn’t even be considered a race.
I don't understand I thought ESPN is all about sports, and to top it off, Caitlin Clark brings in a whole lot of ratings for ESPN. That's not right for ESPN to treat CC like that!😣
@@Snafu2346all about race. If CC was black they would be propping her up to the highest level. They're trying it with Angel Reese and it's literally the equivalent to trying to award Draymond Green over Stephen Curry. Cool you get rebounds cuz you miss a lot of shots but if you're so dominant why is Caitlin at 6'1" being a guard averaging more blocks per game than Reese? It's all about her being white invading a black space. Not to mention ESPN has been pretty anti-white/anti-conservative over the last few years
@@closequarters4575 Agreed. If they didn't count the rebounds Reese gets that are her own failed shots, I don't think she would be getting double/doubles.. 😉
Caitlin Clark First rookie EVER to get a triple-double in WNBA/Franchise History against the best team Liberty her passing is outstanding and what a Great TEAM comeback...****** CC ROTY ******
Why not break another record 🗣️ With just 22 games played, Caitlin Clark becomes the fastest player in WNBA history to record 350+ PTS & 150+ AST! She passes Sue Bird who did it in 25 games in 2002. #WelcometotheW
I would compare Caitlins skills, gameplay and leadership to Magic Johnson's rookie year. Magic was already on a winning team while Caitlin has brought a cellar team up from the ashes to be a team to be reckoned with. Caitlin led her team to beat a 17 and 3 best record in the league team. Her Triple Double doesn't surprise me. She is always around the ball in the right place at the right time which leads to her defensive rebounding which leads to her fast breaks. I truly believe that she is doing this with all the teams double teaming her which leads to her passing when doubled which leads to her assists. I have only been watching her since her senior year in college and March Madness. I am now watching all her games on Methstream. Win or lose, I will always tune in. I cheered so loud that my neighbors next door could hear me.
Like a great QB who makes you work harder to get open, cuz you know youll get the ball,,, most transformative Sports player i can think of in recent memory-- and for young girls who now see how FUN sports is,, how cool it is,,, its justwonderful. Always felt bad my sisters never knew the lifelong Bond sports gives you the brutal practices,,, the road trips that bond you,, and sheer Joy of winning together. Thank God for CC
I’ve never even considered the WNBA my entire life and I’m 52 and I’m a sports freak… I’m looking at the standings. I’m watching the games. I’m watching a little RU-vid highlights. They don’t move as fast as the man or jump as high but you can see the game as a fan of basketball and you might even learn something watching these women. It is so much fun to watch.!!!!
Caitlin Clark & Angel Reese are legitimate contenders for Rookie of the Year. Though Caitlin's zealous development since age 5 wired her brain for championship level insights to go along with her skills. So far, Clark would be ROTY.
Carolyn Clark is a Godsend; she just plays unbelievably, humble, no badmouthing others. I never paid attention to the WNBA. I know I'm like thousands of other people paying attention now.
It's NOT just a good performance, it's a GREAT performance because it was against the current #1 WNBA team New York Liberty! It still would have been good if it was against the last place team, but to do it playing the #1 team is a spectacular achievement! Go CC!!!!
She is Phenom. We never doubted her. Her abilities. And gives compliments to her team. Because Team is what it’s about. True to her character and herself ❤🔥✌️
Hate to say it; but this is what Christie Sides did well, today: 1. Kept Wallace Out & Hull IN. Minimized Eric Wheeler's Play. 2. Putting in the new player, Dimiris Dantas., who got 7 pts going 3 for 3, with 5-6 minutes total playing time. 3. Called 2 critical time-outs to halt the 2 major runs put up by the Liberty Team. What Caitlin did well: 1. Stopped shooting 3's when she when the well went dry 2. She sped up the pace of transition after missed shots by the Liberty, getting loose balls on def rebounds. 3. This pace caused the Liberty to have to move off the boards for OFFENSV Rebounds which gave CC more loose ball DEF rebounds. What Lexi Hull did well: 1. DEF Stops on Olympic Level Talent 2. Got 2-3 strategic loose ball OFFENSIVE Rebounds; she's been proving herself on that one all season. 3. She plays Caitlin's type ball and actually sets CC up for some 3's when she's out there on the court. What Nalissa Smith did well: 1. She has obviously practiced a little bit on fouls shots. What Kelsey Mitchell did well: 1. She has decided to relax enough to play off-ball-point-guard, allowing Caitlin to be the field general. 2. When the shot clock is running down & nothing is going in; give it to Kelsey. 3. Twice Kelsey advanced down court; quickly & found out that CC advanced the ball to her both times on fast breaks NOTE: Have someone else other than Boston or Smith to bring the ball in for they are jogging too slow up the court & are single-handedly slowing down the whole damn game. CC is constantly pushing the ball down the court which opens up shots for everyone. QUESTION: This is my pet-peeve; but can someone make a lay-up without the ball bouncing around the rim, so much. Because I am an obsessive about higher quality basketball, learn how to bounce the lay-up much higher off the backboard, so it falls back through the net more cleanly. Use Kelsey Mitchell & Lexi Hull as examples of ones who do it right. SUMMARY / CONCLUSION: The Level of Play of the WNBA has been so mediocre for so long that one player CAN improve the look & feel of a last place team to put that same team into first time ever Play-Off contention. Christie Sides needs to watch the film replay footage of this game over -n-over to take notes because Caitlin Clark has deservedly earned the position of 'team field general' & Coach sides needs to make all her decisions with that in mind, that that has happened. (No Going Backwards on that achieved milestone) For the 2 minutes that Caitlin did not play at the end of the 2nd quarter, the Liberty caught up about 8 pts of a 14-point differential. Eric Wheeler coming in seriously interrupted the flow of what CC had established. Maybe only suffer damage by having CC only go out for 1 minute before the end of the half. CC has proven to be the team's spark plug player.
100% yes..Caitlin Clark will be the rookie of the year this WNBA season. No doubth about that b’coz she’s playing magnificent not just scoring but rebounding and assisting all her teammates.. she is a great leader in court inspite of being rookie.
Is Sides finally learning how to coach the Fever? She did use Lexie Hull and Damiris Dantas, both of them should have played more minutes. Clark finally started to shoot more. The defense was excellent, thanks in a big part to Hull. The team is finally letting Clark be the team leader. CC is one of the best passers in the WMBA if not the best.
It seems like the "W" has thought of Clark as a shooter. She's being guarded closely from the logos in. When you see her college highlights, yes, she's scoring at will from distance but she's also wide open! Not anymore, and her efficiency isn't what it was in college. At least so far. What the league is finding out now is that she's an ELITE passer. Her teammates are not as surprised when she serves up these brilliant dimes, so they are catching the passes and making the open layups, instead of acting like they're in shock! And how does a point guard lead her team in rebounds, most games? The same incredible court vision that leads to the great passes, and the sense that 35 feet is the new 15 when she has the ball, I guess. So, do we understand Caitlin Clark yet? I'm a Celtics fan who watched Larry Bird in person at least fifty times. I've also just seen Jayson Tatum change from a scorer to a leader who makes his teammates better and really hard to beat. I understand Caitlin Clark.
Of course she will be Rookie of the year. She is absolutely amazing as anyone with any common sense knows. She has until September to expand her stats and I have no doubt they will be incredibly impressive. Another triple double in the future? I believe there will be than one. Will the Fever be in the play-offs? Absolutely. The Fever team is paramount to their success. It's not just Caitlin but they would not be where they are without her,
Heaven forbid the rookie of the year goes to the only rookie EVER to achieve a triple double! It will be interesting to see how the WNBA justifies giving it to someone else, lol.
She got the triple-double. The very 1st rookie to get that. It’s something that nobody else will ever do. They might be the 2nd or 3rd but only ONE player will ever be 1st? Go CC22. ROTY
@@kingskidgirl2 But not the other way around, which is what Sides said . Sides said she's 1st in franchise/team history. That doesn't automatically make her 1st in league history. I guess you missed the lessons in school about logic, inverse, converse and contrapositive.
I don't think the Coach even knows!!!!! First time for ANYONE in Franchise history, first time for a rookie in WNBA history. You would think the coach might know that. (EDIT: at least that what I read/heard. I haven't checked their Franchise stat history myself).
And in addition to her basketball achievements (a MAJOR factor / attribute in itself, such as this triple D), I soooo like, enjoy and appreciate CC's wholesomeness, personal image and character. Truly a MAJOR improvement for the WNBA, so scrambled with silly players that don't even know their nature and act as ignorant gang bullies or stupid street scum. An abomination / aberration type of player that mars the sport and spills such a detriment in front of so many young people. Hence, again, the difference that a player like CC makes to clean up the WNBA act, creating a hope for a real role model, especially for the kids and fans in general. MAJOR impact. Long live Her Majesty Queen Caitlin. May she be blessed throughout the successes of her career.
How easy to do.. Angela can do point for a quarter or two.. done. Aja did it quite a few times before thier real point came back. Anyway , This was planned after angela is about to break the double double. ROY was looking good and she was named ROMonth. Angela is battling under the basket. But, Clark had atleast six just drop because noone was near and probably, she was the one assigned to get it vs another player....watch previous games and its not Clark
The best is yet t come and I hope they are resting her during the games. She went into the professional ranks directly after a long college season at Iowa? Basketball 🏀
