Something that commentators don't seem to articulate well with Caitlin, is that she engages the crowd in a way that very few players do. By her senior year, she was conducting the crowd, waving them to get louder, hushing them during free throws and she brought us viewers into the game with her. Not only is she incredibly talented player, but beyond that she is a performer. She has a two-way conversation with the crowd during games. She feeds off the energy and the noise. Most players block the crowd out and just want to play the game while we watch. And there is nothing wrong with that, at all. But CC is bigger than that, she loves the emotions of it all and opens that conversation up to the audience. That takes incredible poise and is a very rare thing. She doesn't just want to play, she wants to entertain. She hasn't done this yet in the WNBA but she will, as she settles in and gains confidence, it will happen. Cause that's her, that's her game and style. I think her economy of energy is so consumed with the adjustment to the W, that she hasn't enough left over for the crowd yet. But it will happen, and Indiana will fall in lover with her, just the rest of us did.
Caitlin Clark 22 thank you so much for bringing young and old men and women together to enjoy women’s basketball !! You inspired me to watch and play basketball again !! You are an AMAZING , INSPIRATIONAL & SELFLESS person . Thanks to your parents too for doing such a great job with you !💕🙏🏼
Love to watch CC. I am a fan after hearing about this phenomenon from my home state. I wish she had a better support system from her team in Indiana. She plays so selflessly even though facing such adversity. Thank you Caitlyn for getting people excited again and setting such a great example. I hope she knows how much we love her 🎉
Thank you CC for your commitment and support of Special Olympics. Hearing you speak with such respect and understanding of the importance of sports at every level is so heartwarming. Yet another reason to admire you as an athlete and a human being. ❤
I love that Debbie emphatically told us that she is not old, and then later told us she is struggling with getting old. God bless her! 😂. Thanks for supporting Caitlin Debbie! She needs all the support she can get right now with all the pressure she is facing!
She can’t even level with you Debbie. She must be really lonely-away from her family, friends and even her boyfriend must be busy with the Pacers. For someone usually so cheerful and buoyant I can imagine how difficult it must be for her. I hope her family can go spend a few weeks with her.
I thank God for Caitlins family right now. I would not be able to handle the stress she must be under. She needs our support and love and encouragement right now. CC is moving the needle in womens basketball and coupled with some of the mean criticism from other players must be a tremendous burden for her , and that she is growing into a new level of competition . Lots going on for her right now.

Before the regular season started and before the pre-season ended. CC said "the next one is the real thing", so after the 2 pre-season games but before the Sun game.
